I just wanted to remind everyone of this, so far I received all of 2 ballots for Alpha, and three tean owners have not even openend the message yet where I asked them to please put the rules up on their team forums. Still some time, so hopefully people are jsut taking hteir time, but would be nice if ballots would start coming in ...

No, no response from Monarchs yet, both I got were from AWC. Jerome has read the mail though, not sure whether he put up the post in the forum.

Response has still been underwhelming, I guess FDCs idea of opening the whole thing up did not really work in WEPL. I certainly had more ballots in at this point last season, and that was for just owners and GMs, who probably don't feel the need anymore to send anything in now that every player could. So much for players wanting something to do and more involvement

Vikings are having staffing issues atm - Shorteous is digging some hot Korean girls at this point, and I'm in insurance so 3 hurricanes in quick succession = I am very very busy.

I've got 3 ballots per PM, and 1 rather biased ballot in this thread.

I thought this was supposed to be one of the more active pro leagues in the game?

I seriously think opening the voting up was a mistake. Now owners and GMs feel less responsible to submit a ballot, in the hope that their players might, while those players apparently can't be bothered. Had we restricted it to the Owners and GMs like last time at least we could have "guilted" them into submitting one Not quite sure if those strong supporters of opening the process even submitted a ballot yet?

No. I haven't gotten a single ballot from an owner or GM. A lot of owners and GMs haven't been on the forums for a while either.... (FDC, jprietman, etc.)


To be honest, if this is the kind of participation we're going to get, then we may as well just scrap the whole fucking idea.

100% of Alpha ballots are from Aberdeen Well, aside from my own that is. Get of your lazy butts people!
