Go Caprica, beat the Wolves!!!

WTF? No East vs West loyalty?

Not when our first playoff spot is on the line.
Sorry.

Err, are you sure? Unless I understand something wrong, they are set. Even if SWBM wins and Detroit, Vice City and Atlanta lose, you would still be out. There would be a 3 way tie at 9-7, and Detroit and Vice City both beat SWBM. Unless my understanding is incomplete?

NM, SWBM beat Vice City, I got that wrong. Makes a lot more sense now. Well I'm not gonna role over out of charity!

So if Atl wins, SWBM wins, and Vice City loses, we get a muck-fest again in the east. If Detroit loses, it gets even better. Awesome!

Yeah, there's every chance of another mess. Plus the spots after #2 aren't terribly clear either - lots of room for mobility up and down still, with home playoff game money on the line, plus first round matchups.

Besides, I wasn't kidding when I said you guys had improved. Better by far over last season, and before long people in the mid-to top of the division are going to have to sweat those games.

Thanks for the moral support! But don't be too shocked if you guys see some brown paper bags from the sidelines. We'll throw them away for next season though.

We should have the tie break over all 3 teams: atlanta, vice city, and SWBM since we beat all 3.

I apologize Sequtugh, your game has no impact on our playoff situation. Go Wolves.

If we win and Mambas lose, we get 8th. If we win and Mambas and Outlaws lose, then it goes to a points scored tie breaker (I think), which should give us the 7th spot.
Points scored so far:
Menzingers - 584
Outlaws - 566
Wolves - 565
Mambas - 480

Regardless, Mambas control their own destiny. If they beat DVDTalk they're in. Detroit has head to head over everyone in the discussion, so they should also be in before points are considered.
Wolves win the head to head with SWBM, but lose on points, so it gets confusing there, and depends on how far into tiebreakers it needs to get for # of teams with a tied record. A 4 way tie, as we saw last season, would get into best record vs. those teams before points scored.

However far into it gets, I think Detroit is in, but could drop to 8th. Mambas are in with a win, and probably out with a loss. Wolves and SWBM need a win and a Mambas loss to have a chance, and then have to sweat the tiebreaker math.

Maybe Anchorage can pull off a win against Miami and really screw things up in the East!

-Detroit is guaranteed #7 with a VC loss or a Detroit win.
-VC can claim the #7 spot with a VC win and Detroit loss; Detroit locks in to #8.
-If both VC and Detroit win, they lock up #7 and #8.
-If Atlanta or SWBM lose they are out.
-If VC loses(Detroit then locks in #7), while Atlanta and SWBM win, Detroit claims #7 and the #8 goes to points scored due to a head to head tie(VC, Atl, and SWBM are all 1-1)....

Currently-
-SWBM has scored 584
-Atlanta has scored 565
-VC has scored 480

This ALL assumes that the Makos win...if they lose then a whole new clusterf@$k could be created for the #5-7 seeds lol.

Pretty scary in VC...a week or so ago it looked like it was a no brainer, now it's a scramble to just get the #8.

Unless NBSK loses to the Vikings this game is pretty meaningless for us. That, and anything is possible, though I'd hate to lose all momentum going into the playoffs like that.
If we're going to lose one, better now than in 2 days though.

Even scarier is the fact that the Mambas started out 7-1 and now might somehow miss out on the playoffs.
