alright I guess FB is settled then... I guess Cam could be the rushing FB, and trix could be the blocking one then.

Matt how many more positions do we need to settle?

well we really should spend some more time and i think get each pos down to like a top 3 or 5 and then do a tally vote where whoever wants to vote can just vote.

right now

FB looks like

East
#1 Cam West (RR)
#2 Tricks R. Fokids.
#3 ....?

West
in the west theres been a few good suggestion but we need someone to step up and nominate a few clear cut guys.

so are we doing 3rd team as well? in the NFL the pro bowl had 3 deep at guys like RB, QB, WR, and some other receivers or are we just doing starters and backups?

yea I haven't really heard anyone from the West lately on any of the nomination threads.

Aren't fullbacks mostly used for blocking nowadays? Not yardage?

I am the proud owner of the Retros and I can tell you that the rushing ability of Cam on a pass-heavy team like Richmond has been vital to our success this year. He is consistent and he is a dominant rusher in this conference.

Carlos Blanka

65 att, 305 yds, 9 TD's, 14 BrTkls, 48 Pancakes

But his main attribute is that he paves the for Brown, Angel and Ender on the Bullets who are currently sat at the No#4 Rushing Team in the League.

In the west, I like Anagga Susenapathy. Great pure FB, does it all for a good team.

In the east, I like Tricks R. Forkids. Thanks.

Hammerhead Suhey gets my unbiased vote. 1. He blocked for Cory Gee, who was awesome this year 2. he still got a good ammount of yards and TDs.

I think its fair to count Cam as a FB we decide to give him the ball b/c he's good and also tricks's ypc is higher because he runs less and Cam's ypc is still comparable. no one said that he had to run under 10% to be classified as a FB. also Tricks plays behind a better O-line while Cam just makes it happen. I don't think YPC is something to go by since tricks is in a better system and runs less inflating his average.

we can debate it all day Cam West and Tricks are easily 1 and 2.

also we didn't really start giving cam the ball till just before mid season since our HB's struggled. so it's not like we're using him as an HB entirely. also we pass like 85% of the time. so Cam is only really running it 10% of the snaps. he usually gets between 10-15 and 20 at most depending on the team we faces strengths and weaknesses.

also I think the HB's success has more to do with the O-line than the FB IMO.

I'd say Cam because his rushing stats are stellar and he's a good blocker as well as being 4 levels lower than Trix and on a worse team makes him #1 and Trix a close 2nd.

we pass just as much dude

and btw, this same argument is going on in the KR and PR pro bowl thread, avg is one of the most important things. it means how many yrds he is likely to get on a single carry. in my opinion, that is the most important stat for a HB, and its WAY up there for a FB.

so no, it is not settled. Tricks blow at blocking. he has hardley any pancakes, and no catching, so he wouldn't be good for a recieving FB either.

SHein Shejero,- Voodoo - 20 TD's, 400 yds, 4.5 avg/carry, 0 fumbles (knock on wood)
37 Pancakes, 24 1st downs

one of 2 lead blockers for 2 RB's that combined for 3000 yds and 28 TD's

I vote Shien

If your'e going to use that rationale, then Sam Ramalamb from South Otto should be the guy. He was the primary lead blocker for 2 guys that ran for more than 5000 yards and 70 TD's. I vote for Sam.

ok then I guess Cam will be the rushing FB since his stats show that he's better behind a weaker O-line... Cam bones Trix are you fauking kidding me??? we go by stats not how much they run... and plus you have a better team and O-line so of course your stats would be inflated. Cam has a 5.6 YPC average behind a weaker O-line and ran for 1000 and 4 more TD's than trix, untill trix does that he doesn't make the pro bowl over Cam, Cam is 4 levels lower than trix, plays on a weaker team with a weaker Oline, and they both play in passing offenses. you really have no argument in saying trix bones cam. the stats are all there. and if you wanna use your 6.5 YPC you only ran the ball 116 times to Cam's 200+, IMHO its harder to have a 5.6 over 200 carries than 6.5 on 116, the lower amount of carries inflates your YPC average...

Cam is easily the best rushing FB here. I know trix is your guy so you want him to make it but I mean Cam has the stats behind a weaker O-line; no ones debating how often they run. Cam > trix, anyone who thinks otherwise is mentally damaged...

so what are we gonna have a 2nd team Rushing and blocking FB then? Cam is the #1 rushing FB no one can even argue with his stats. unless someone tops that then I see no reason why he shouldn't be the probowler.

I'm personally having a hard time seeing any other FBs who top Shien and Anagga from LH Voodoo.

I'd more than likely lean towards Anagga though, he's a more well rounded FB whereas Shien is just a friggin' TD hog.
