Don't worry about being thrown to and all that in the D leagues, worry about that when you move to a human team.

So apparently, it seems i have already messed up my guy, but luckily this game doesnt reset (does it?) so i still have time to correct myself. The cpu team seems to use 3 different QB's and their levels are 10, 9, and 6. Also, you guys are saying i have a lot of dropped balls, but its nothing compared to the rest of the guys on the team. I have 10 dropped balls in 10 games, so obviously thats 1 drop/game and that doesnt seem too bad. The others have like 15-20+ drops. So, i still dont understand why im not getting ANYTHING thrown at me for the past 4 games. Thanks again.
What are your SAs? That build is incredibly weak for level 7. It barely looks like anything has been done to it besides training from the original spec.

I won't poo-poo your build like everyone else. What I will say, is by selecting all the SA's you have, your essentially squirreling away your nuts for a later day. You cannot expect to have success with this build until you get your speed soft capped and your agility close to a 3:2 ratio with speed. Obviously that won't be an overnight fix. I believe you will have achieve the success you are looking for, just not in the time frame you hope for. Next time post this in the WR position forum, not general.
I generally suggest maxing out your speed tree one box at a time, it is more effective to have one 5 pointed SA then to have five SA's with one point (at least in the speedster tree where things are "increase chance" versus the possession tree where they are flat "bonuses."
So, sit back and know you will have a long ride until you get your speed soft-capped, then get your agility within 66% of your speed number (then max out the SA speedster tree's you have points invested in already so that they are at least level 5)
Don't expect the kind of success you are hoping for until the speed and agility are where they need to be.

There has also been a problem w/ WRs lining up ain the WR2 slot. For some reason, the QB has not been throwing very many passes to whoever is lined up at the WR2 position, regardless of the player's build. QBs have been much more biased towards WR1 and WR3 this season.

ya, thanks for the polite response lol so what is softcap for speed? i think someone said 49 somewhere earlier in this thread. Also, lets just say the softcap is 49, is that 49 including the blue points, or not?

For a speed receiver I would hit the soft caps in this order if in the D leagues: speed, catching, agility, and speed again or speed, speed, catching, agility. The only reason I would go with the first is human teams may not want to give that player build a chance to play with all speed and no agility. This should take you to about level 20. Then train jumping & vision. Maybe train a little in strength and stamina as needed. Stay out of the special abilities until your level 20+! The special abilities will help you out in the short run, but you will suffer in the long run! I look at SA as when you are satisfied with your base stats then go there otherwise your F'd! Then put all your equipment in speed.
Do not worry about game stats until your about level 16. All WR suck until they get some level stats under there belt.
The QB will not pass you the ball if you can not catch and if your not open. So get open and then catch the damn ball already!

1.) Get speed to 48 with SP You'll see more balls thrown your way
2.) Train agility to 30 then catching to 30 You'll see more catches
4.) Put all equipment in speed and speedster ability You'll see even more balls
5.) Get to level 5 First Step and Quick Cut You'll see even more balls and less deflections/drops
Been here done this.

This does not include equipment (blue points).
