In the grand scheme of things, most people will always pick a Pro league over a lesser league.

And Coach, what exactly did the Aces do to beat your Bourbon Street Bullies? According to my logic, Continentals would also beat your team in a scrimmage. And aren't you guys in 1st place or something?

I'm telling you: You could drop at least four teams from the ocho, maybe even six, into USA Pro and no one would blink

True, but this is another step in the right direction.

Believe me, the average level in our league is very high. There wouldn't be any penalties for players coming to the ocho.

SO there you go.

You missed the point. I'm not trying to insult your league..I'm just pointing out that a lvl 28+ interested in fame isn't going to sign in BBB when they can actually get rewarded for signing in AAA and above.

It's just common sense.

Not to discredit your win (congratulations), but Flames has taken a little leave from GLB and is mostly just logging in here and there, and he has more going on in his life right now than GLB. To my knowledge no one else has Offensive AI capabilities and therefore there was nothing changed. But with these same settings we beat the defending USA Pro West Championship team. I would venture to say you spent a thousand times the time scouting, setting up AI and so forth than our team did, as we didnt spend a second doing so.

um.. no scouting that i know of. You'll have to talk to their owner though. Bummer for Flames though.

Free Agents all across GLB...

Lol if you didn't notice USA Pro only takes the best... we could care less about scrubs that say they can play

This is why people hate this league.

Your logic is very flawed. Though it was a good strategy to schedule the scrimmage on a day when the Aces' attention would obviously be focused elsewhere.

Actually, the post Bort made says he'll reward people for playing in leagues with higher average levels, not higher leagues. I haven't run any numbers, and USA Pro almost certainly does have a higher average level, if we somehow DID have the same average level, the players would be rewarded the same.
