New York could also get into a 3 way tie with Martha's and Maine if they can upset St. Louis or Minnesota. Launch played very well today, they could very well do it. I haven't added up the point totals to see who would advance from those teams.

Maine would advance since they have beat both BB and Launch.

I'm not sure if it would be an upset at this point. We have to play a good game to beat New York, and we haven't played many good games this year against tough opponents. We played below average against EZ, Fresno and LilWeezy.. played terrible against Tijuana, Colorado, and Lauderdale..

It's starting to look like we're going to have to play the best three teams in the West to advance this year..and that's probably too much to ask of any team in the west, but we're up to the challenge.

I didn't. Wow, our team sucked today. I have no clue what wrong.

You guys played close games with New York Launch and Martha's Vineyard, both teams we beat, but yet we were blown out. Odd.

I thought it would be close. We just are having turnover problems. We lose 3 fumbles and throw 2 picks. That surely didn't help, but we were just outplayed badly.

Yah, last year was an overtime game. We were expecting something similiar and it was nerve racking gameplanning against the City of Sin. Chance you'll get some revenge in round 1 of the playoffs this year. Always hate facing hungry pissed off teams.

We finally got all cylinders rolling, hopefully that continues against some boring mundaine competition these next two games. They do nothing but win, which is pretty boring if you ask me *yawn* *yawn* *yawn*

How did Dutch Harbor *possibly* cost Martha's a playoff spot and play as the spoiler? Just asking, I don't know all the scenarios associated with the seeding and the tie-breakers.

I'm trying to figure that out myself. I agree that we need to win a game to better our chances of securing a spot. Our final two games will be about as easy as trying to de-flower a nun.

Martha's Vineyard plays 2 tough teams left, and already lost to Maine. If they lose both those games, they will be 7-9. I'm projecting Maine to lose to New Orleans, but beat Tulsa. That would put them 7-9, and win the tiebreak. Detroit had a good shot of getting to 7-9, making it a 3-way tie, and making it points scored as the tiebreak. I believe Martha's had a slight edge here.

Now Martha's needs to finish ahead of Maine. Which means they either win 2 games, win 1 game and have Maine lose 1, or lose both games and have Maine lose both. Maine has a much easier schedule and should be able to get at least 1 win. I think it comes down to Martha's vs. San Francisco, and they are definitely the underdog there.

Now I see. That will make the rivalry between The Maine Hawks and my beloved Ballbusters even MORE intense. Nothing like adding some more gasoline to the bonfire.

Such a classic line, and sadly so true. Damn! Massachusetts vs Maine once again without even playing a game. Go figure! I must admit, this is fun. It wouldn't be much fun if we were in the West. It's nothing personal against those teams that are in the West. It's just so strange that half the teams have been gutted yet NONE have been gutted in the East.
