it doesn't matter how many times you've made it to the playoffs. the claim is that the caps beat boston every time WE'VE played you in the playoffs. other teams aren't part of this equation.

reading comprehension...try it.

So, how many times have you lost to the Caps in the playoffs?

Oh yeah, 100% of the time.

People in BBB4 are terrible readers.

I understand what you're saying, and you're the only one saying it accurately. You've beaten us 100% of the time we've played you in the playoffs, but not 100% of the time in the playoffs.

Doesn't say that the caps always beat boston when they play them in the playoffs, it says always.

And that statement right there is absolutely false. We have lost to the Caps once in the playoffs, not 100% of the time. Now, which one of us needs to work on our reading comprehension?

Yeah, Darius said that the caps always beat boston in the playoffs. Which is not true. We were beaten by another team in season 2. Therefore, we are not always beaten by the caps.

i guess that can be interpreted in two ways.

1 - the caps (are) always (the team that) beats boston in the playoffs.
2 - the caps always beat boston in the playoffs (when they play each other)

i'm pretty sure #2 is was darius meant since #1 isn't true and we know darius is a stickler for the cold hard facts.

Obviously I knew what you meant, but I like to ignore implied meanings for the sake of being a pain in the ass.

chance Audio Help /tʃæns, tʃɑns/ Pronunciation Key - Show Spelled Pronunciation[chans, chahns] Pronunciation Key - Show IPA Pronunciation noun, verb, chanced, chanc·ing, adjective
–noun
1. the absence of any cause of events that can be predicted, understood, or controlled: often personified or treated as a positive agency: Chance governs all.
2. luck or fortune: a game of chance.

Whatever the hell you had, Caps, when you beat us.. was a thing called "chance"--commonly referred to as luck.

There's a chance you'll lose. And there's a chance that a 16-0 team will win the playoffs.

Thank you, dictionary.com. Thank you.
