Oh, and btw, Confidence is NOT the third most important thing for a QB to build. At least if you want to help your team score points. It might be #6 among Attributes + SAs.

Got a 96.4 rating and 4:1 ratio with only 33 confidence. What say you now?

Personally I think confidence is a reactionary stat for the QB. If you've got a good enough team where your WR's are getting open, and you don't have to throw into coverage too often, then confidence becomes the 4th or 5th most important stat (I think it's 4th at best anyway). But if you're a middle of the pack team facing great coverage every week, you'll need more confidence to get over the inevitable interceptions.

Your competition isn't saying much, with a team that is far better than the rest of the league even a mediocre QB build would dominate

That's exactly right, which is why confidence has been on the backburner until this season. It'll probably be soft-capped before he plays against comparable competition.
