I just don't have the inclination anymore (might have something to do with having 1 working hand and going to jail in a week or so).

Yikes. Hoap the Cubes keep soap on a rope in stock in their locker room.

DUI?

We decided it would be best to have him thoroughly broken in before some big gangbanger nicknamed "The Starfish Ripper" makes bonger his special friend. The soap has been glued to the C^3 lockerroom floor, and Horse Hammer and Johnny Grocock are doing their parts to toughen him up.

I was only looking at murder city as a challenge -=D

This was more so who they're playing that could potentially be impacted by the game, more than level of challenge.

Though we all have our opinions, on which games will be more challenging than others...

I'll leave the predictions for Geno, he's better at them. Plus with the way this Sim works, "Any given Simday"(tm) j4mzf0rm0d.

i'm retiring from predictions.

focusing my attentions elsewhere.

would be cool if someone else stepped up, however.

Takes a lot of work to scout the entire conference every 2 days.. it's doable but in the end it always comes down to "Do I entertain the conference or do what I can for my team..?"

I say give the guy kudos for keeping it up this long..

aren't there any agents in the forums regularly who don't run a team who could take it up?

Yeah, in Texas. From 2001. Long story.

You might know him as 'The Waco Kid'

He has the fastest hands in the West, or maybe the world.

It got so that every pissin' prairie punk who thought he could shoot a gun would ride into town to try out the Waco Kid. He must have killed more men than Cecil B. De Mille. It got pretty gritty. He started to hear the word 'draw' in his sleep. Then one day, he was just walkin' down the street, and he heard a voice behind him say, 'Reach for it, mister!' He spun around and there he was face to face with a six year-old kid. He just threw his guns down and walked away. The little bastard shot him in the ass. So he limped to the nearest saloon, crawled inside a whiskey bottle, and he's been there ever since.

Week 13 in Review
What a shake up this week:

Games with playoff implications:

Game 1:
4th Seed Maryland drops one to the previous 6th seed Pontiac Warkittens
(Maryland down 1 spot from #3, Kittens rise 2 spots from 8th to 6th)

Game 2:
#8 Detroit pulls one out at the end over #9 Columbus
(Columbus previously the 7th seed drops 2 spots to #9, just outside the playoff chase while Detroit moves up 2 spots from 10th to 8th and into the playoff picture)

Game 3:
#7 Seattle Reign drops a heartbreaker to #1 Michigan
Status quo for the mighty Panthers, Seattle drops 1 spot, just below the surging Kittens.

Game 4:
#10 Megatropolis drops a game closer than the score to #2 MCD
MCD stays at #2, Megatropolis drops to #10 2 spots outside of the playoff chase.

Game 5: Milwaukee walks past a lesser opponent to remain the 5th seed, 1 game back of #'s 3 and 4.

Game 6: Carson City steamrolls past the once Lost Vikings and moves up 1 spot to the #3 seed from previous holder Maryland

Looking Ahead: The Battle for 8th

Columbus
Columbus' loss at Detroit has made the race for the 8th spot very interesting indeed.

Columbus faces a cellar dwellar in a gimme game next week, but then it's on to death row #1 Seed Michigan, and (NBG TT Humpers) #3 seed from the west.

Megatropolis
Megatropolis is on to face the newly gutted Chicago Storm for an easy W.
Megatropolis the 10th seed faces Detroit the 8th seed next week, in a match that will likely eliminate the loser from contention. Megatropolis is on to face the newly gutted Chicago Storm for an easy W, and then face a difficult challenge in the West's 1.99s.

Detroit
If new #8 Detroit wants in they'll have to earn it. Facing the #5 seed fire, then on to the aforementioned game with the Megatropolis Tigers. The Reavers of the West will be Detroits final challenge, should they stay in the race that long.

Barring a huge upset, i think Columbus is out considering they lost head-to-head to both Megatropolis and now Detroit. Quite a shocker.
