that implies we played from behind and managed to avoid the blow out
we were leading at the half, the offense just didnt bother to come out of the locker room for the second half... damn lazy bums
less than a one score game.. pretty much what everyone expected.. one way or the other.
home field advantage is a killer (as demostrated tonight).. and that win should help you guys keep that advantage in the bigger playoff games.

A few things...

There's no advantage for home field, Bort has said so. There's no increase to morale or performance. The only advantage is ticket and concession sales. Adding a home field advantage is actually something that's been suggested he implement because it would make sense.

By "kept it close" I mean that the stats from the game would've indicated a much more lopsided game than the score. We had almost 75% more yards than you guys, almost completely shut down your running game, and TOP favored us by by over 10 minutes. If you'd told me that before the game I would've guessed a 14+ point differential. Not 6 with you guys in it until the end.

Please. I realize you're probably not happy you lost, but the pic was a joke. Considering the amount of smack and the way a few guys on your team go out of their way to get people riled up in the forums here I figured that if there's one team here who can take a little ribbing it would be the Otters. I guess not. You guys are probably our biggest rival and I know that both teams put a lot of work into this game. A fair amount of smack has been talked in the past too. I posted a pic of a dead otter. Did I personally insult any of you? Did I call out any of your individual players for their performances? No. I ribbed a little and also congratulated you on a tough-fought game. If we'd lost and you'd posted a picture of an otter taking a leak on Mount Rushmore I'd have laughed because it would have been funny. I've seen way more offensive done and said here and most people realize it's all in good fun. Your WR does way more to stir up trouble and start crap than anything we've said or done.

Was a good game. This time around you guys were on the losing side of it. No shame in that, hard fought, nail biter. Great game the fans would have gotten their money`s worth.

I endorse this as a serious apology from NH. But I have been drinking a bit tonight so my perception might be a little off.

Unless you belong to PETA I think it can be taken in the light-hearted manner in which it was intended.

Was a really good game.... Thought we were forking the game over in our typical morale snowball fashion after that gift at the end of the half... I wonder if morale effects get reset at halftime 'cause that would have normally been a killer sequence for us..... ?

The poor fuzzy animal! How dare you take a picture of an already dead animal and show it! Oh the horror!

You guys aren't endorsing the killing of otters are you? How do you know everyone seeing that picture won't run out and kill an otter? So irresponsible. You disgust me!

i knew this was a game that could easily go either way.. and it was a good close game.. we had one bad matchup on the line, and it cost us. It happens. Hopefully we get a chance to meet back up in the playoffs.
i could care less about a picture of a dead animal. it wasnt the subject matter that rubbed me the wrong way, just seemed like poor sportsmanship. If you dont feel it was, we will just have to disagree on that.

Im cool with the smack talk.. just seemed to me that it seemed to be coming along with what i took as an underhanded remark on the 'kept it close'.
