matta,

Is this the spreadsheet that is built like the RPI, or is it the one that tallies up and weights team stats, like sacks and yards etc?

Oh, and a serious answer on why I keep digging into this is not that I'm harping on the east/west thing, but because i'm a PhD student and run a policy think tank, so i'm into spreadsheet models and stats.

I do my fair share of spread sheet work. Most of the time when I do work out any math problems I use Maple 10. It is a huge time saver for any DiffyQ problems.

But back to the spread sheet thing. I normally use it for planning builds and keeping track of you guys.

matta,

So, to my original question, what does the spreadsheet look at?

I don't know. I don't have it on my office computer.

I'd be interested to know more about your dissertation topic, though. My PhD was in a different field, but I am starting to branch into that area now (it's a hot topic these days in all the journals, as I'm sure you know, and there's more funding than faculty to use it).

RUTGERS DOESN'T DO ANYTHING TOWARDS FOOTBALL. I KNOW FROM EXPERIENCE.

That's what I thought.

Don't know what you are talking about. RU is in the middle of a big stadium expansion. There is a 12,000 person waiting list for season tickets. The Coach makes huge money. The team now wins more than loses, after 15 years of losing way more than winning.

So, as a season ticket holder, and employee, and alum, what are you talking about?

Neon...from a PM I thought you were in the same town or a town near me. If so, how the heck does it take you 45 minutes to drive to RU? Also, as a multi degree RU alum and season ticket holder I'm also curious how you can say anything about RU not doing anything towards football. Even if you are reading the ledger their general take is that we are doing too much.

*shrug*

I do chemistry and general 'business' work at a real big environmental company, though my division (chemical recovery\technical solutions) probably isn't what NJ deals with.

I get the Ledger everyday. The RL sK don't do vary many public things. at all. Everybody is a "fan", but no one really cares if they win or lose around me. A lot of season ticket holders are related to someone on the team/on the staff/in the department. In fact, the last article I saw about RU was Ray Rice becoming a Raven.

Also, I haven't driven to RU in forever. 45-25 min is an estimate.

EDIT: google maps says - 13.5 mi – about 23 mins
