Aye, should thank Tucson, the game tape helped me realise (with some pointing out from some disgruntled players 
) we've been playing with broken advanced energy settings all season. Would somewhat explain our lousy D to an extent. Have now fixed it all and should hopefully step things up a little from now on, got a scrim lined up to run it through, doesn't solve all our issues from the game but it's a step in the right direction.

We had problems with energy until the Chicago game. It took me forever to get them close to where I wanted them. It's still inperfect, but it's as close as I can get it with Bort's settings..

Aye, they've been fiddling with the layout of the advanced energy stuff and for some reason we didn't have it forcing starters on any of 3rd downs, 4th downs or red zone situations, and our 4th quarter tactics were only half set. Rapidly gone through and fixed it all so hoping for some extra push.
Doesn't really help when your chasing a result and your third string players are on the field.

I don't force starters, but our defense has quite a bit of depth. I had long time players wanting to be traded because of the energy tactics. I was SO proud to finally get it squared away so I could focus on other things.

I don't think we force starters either, but luckily we have some great backups on both sides of the ball. Only a few holes to fill this offseason. Thank god.
