Now Lance is over there suffering on a crappy team that has no idea how to play, he has begged me to pay for him to get off that team, but hes only there because yall did to a former GM and long time starter for yall just what you did for the players that are presently on that team, you used him as tradebait.

Oh well regardless EEP has become one of the worse leagues in GLB. EEP just happen to be one of the first, "besides USP" to fall. Unless Bort attempts some kind of mass league rearrangement then it might be stuck, but this is what happens when you release 1000+ teams each off season. I expect alot of teams in the lower leagues now to start giving up their teams, they are comming around to the second year mark, to renew. I dont expect alot of them to renew.

GLB was fun while it lasted, but in all honesty, I dont see it growing any bigger than what it is. Like Randy said in a thread before, traffic to the site is slowing down, GLB is surviving because current players are forced to make more players. You dont find to many people out there that have only one player anymore.

To Tuna and Ice; I do agree that GLB has made some changes "not the build changes" that could have severly crippled the game, but I think it would of been in the best interest to finish out this season, or you should have sold the team back during the off season.

In just this one week GLB has lost 4000 page views.
Since July 11th GLB has lost around 15k page hits per week.
At the begining of this season GLB took a hit of a 30k page difference from their best point which was June.

I know Im personaly not going to spend another dime on a dying game.

Wow the kind of demographics that the website attracts would be coveted by any business. However, I think that putting raw numbers doesnt say much DA, you need to put percentages.

Overall the site is strong, I figure it has even more revenue than before, its just that the game over time is weeding out casual gamers, because they realize more and more that this isnt a game for people who dont have cash.

Is it dying? I dont think so, but it is consolidating and there is no reason for them to keep putting out teams in a consolidation cycle, thats like a business issuing new stock in a consolidation cycle, when you are trying to buy back stock you dont flood the market with more. Right now there arent a flood of new actual users, only new players from established users .. and a few users that have 50-100 players each could literally change the dynamics of the game.

That decline in your links coincides quite well with playoff season (or lack thereof if you get my drift...ie half the teams miss playoffs...half that make are done on day 1...etc etc...) and offseason...

Also, I would say some traffic is lost because it is the summer months in the US and many people are out and about instead of stuck to their computer screens.
