Yeah, but we had WAY more turnovers than we're used to. A solid offensive game and it wouldn't have been a nailbiter. You guys are good, and I hope to God we don't see you in the playoffs...
Umm..your playing the RMD what did you expect..that i wasnt going to gameplan

oh, trust me, i'm livid. as in, genuinely feeling that we got screwed. there has been some talk on the boards that perhaps the sim comes up with the results first, then "plays the game" to match those results, because apparently there have been a LOT of games where these kind of things happen.

the flaw in the programming here is that on first and goal from the two and 20 seconds left, you DON'T kick the FG, knowing that in this game it takes 2, maybe 3 seconds off the clock. you run one or two more plays, THEN kick the FG.

but, what's done is done. of course, if we fall one game short of the playoffs, well, then i'll be pissed all over again. :o)

To the moron who had the balls to call me stupid for some OBVIOUS analysis. I'd kinda think it's obvious why I'd say stamina helped cause the win in the LAST FEW seconds of the game, but I guess it needs some explanation. When you run around, you get tired. When you run around and get hit or hit other people, you get really tired. After doing so for nearly an hour, you are freaking exhausted. But a team with better stamina won't be so tired at the end of a game than a team with lower stamina, thus they should play better.

As for why a team would kick a field goal with nearly 20 seconds left, maybe you had no timeouts left. You have two options: 1. Rush your field goal unit out, kick a field goal, and take the lead. With a good kicker, you are pretty much going to take that lead every time you take this option. 2. Run a play, take the chance of NOT scoring and having the clock run down to zero before you can get your field goal unit to take the field, and lose the game. It takes time to get a field goal unit onto the field, and have the kicker get ready in time to steady himself. 10-15 seconds is NOT long enough.

I think a field goal was the right call as well. That guy who missed the tackle should put all 5 points into tackling for the next 5 levels lol. We had a game where we lost b/c of 2 TD passes the last 2 minutes of the game so i kinda know how it feels.

After all, it was the third string CB that missed the tackle. And the WR had a decent build in my opinion. Without seeing the CBs build, I can't really see, but I bet tackling is in the low 20s.

Good game, Tucson. I watched the game before looking at the box score and had no idea how it was going to turn out, crazy game.

Your squad just made more plays in the end than ours, congrats.

Good game back atcha brotha. I completely dismantled the advanced def tactics after the nightmare against Phoenix and wasn't sure what to expect. It was a close, hard fought game and I was proud we came out on top. Good luck the rest of the way.

So now you want to start with the name calling?
For the record I never called you stupid....just your comments.

Okay Mr. Head up your Azz....the reason your analysis is stupid is because stamina was not an issue.
We had 2 players with energy below 75 and 10 below 80 and 8 of those players were on the offensive side of the ball.
None of the CB's were included in the 10 players.
We have plenty of depth to make sure stamina is not an issue.

You can keep going with your stupid speculations but they are just that....stupid speculations.
I grow tired of all these know-it-all air heads who think they are smarter than everyone else and feel the need to make stupid comments based on pure speculation without any facts whatsoever.

I'm just responding to how it sounds. It sounded like you were calling me stupid, I returned in like. If that wasn't the case, then I apologize.

All I'm saying is, it was the end of the game and at the point, stamina seems like a decent place to blame. Maybe it was, maybe it wasn't. But I also happen to like that build by the receiver. Without seeing the CBs build, I don't have much to go by.
