Yeah, we've played a couple much weaker teams and the DL puts up a whopping 0 sacks. That's even with three of the four in the game those games built specifically FOR sacks.

that means your d-linemen have poor builds.

Go away if your not going to help.

i've helped more than you think.

Keep telling yourself that.

You've given some nice pointers every now and then but saying your build is poor does not help.

Plus Ive seen some great builds that havnt done shit this season.

My question would be are you playing DT or NT. If your a DT it is important to have a stout NT next to you. Our team has a pretty good NT that attracts a lot of blockers leaving the DT 1 on 1 most of the time. He has done quite well.

Our NT has almost the exact same build that Casey does, only difference is Casey has more speed where our NT has more strength.

Yeah, my DT hasn't done much this season either. Granted, I've played most DE due to depth reasons, but when I did come in as DT, I didn't really do jack.

My DT's having similar issues. 2nd softcap on strenght & tackling, soft-capped speed and agility, rushing combo power/evasive.

2 sacks on the season...I had more than that in my first game last year. Keep working at it, I guess....

Do you ever really come in as a DT? I try and keep track of your guy because I'm doing a similar build and it looks like you only play DE, even in 4-3.

I am in the same boat. Last season my DT was getting tons of TFL's as well as hurries and this year he is non existant. Our RDE however is leading the league in sacks and seems to be doing fine.

My DT has roughly 75 str and 55 agility with 40ish speed and 30ish vision. 5 in shed block.

I know the build isnt trash.

Shining Force 2...best game ever. I've played through it 10+ times.

It has to do with the O-line blocking nerf. The O-line is holding onto their blocks for far to long which isn't allowing for the D-line to get to the QB. I have seen GREAT sack artists turned to Shite over night. Does not make any sense as far as I am concerned.

i'm seeing similar problems with both my dt's (L24 NT and L14 DT). minimal penetration, if any. i'm also seeing this among teammates/opponents in the games i've watched this year. guards and centers are dominating the DTs...i've especially noticed that LG's have not given up an inch to the DT quite frequently on pass plays, when the rest of the pocket caves in.

i've already played in at least 3 games this year where there were 0 sacks/0 hurries in the entire game.

Yea I noticed the same thing. I had a game recently where my DT with 75 str 55 agi lined up against a LG with a 50/50 build and I did absolutely nothing. Im not expecting domination but damn, something would be good.

That same game, the lvl 22 DE goes up against a lvl 24 LOT with what appears to be a good build and gets 3 sacks. DE's got boosted big team and I think DT's are suffering for it.

There's two reasons DLs are getting less penetration/sacks: blocking changes, and the blowout AI.

For a lot of players, their stats were at least half received in blowout wins. Now that players play at a lower level during blowout games (to use less energy), the stats aren't as ridiculous. That coupled with OLs seeming to be more effective than better DLs means less stats.

I would agree on the oline changes somewhat. The blowouts have minimal effects. 3 quarters is still more than enough to get some TFL's or sacks. DE's are having no problem getting to the QB this season, so the O Line changes can only be but so much influence
