Yeah, Albany and their 4 year slow-build idea, is an absolute train wreck.

edit: I commend Vegas's ownership for their commitment to building a competitive team. It's a delicate balance between being in full rebuild mode and/or trying to compete.
I know for a fact the Cubes, when new ownership took over at the beginning of s3, we completely gutted the team and returned zero players from the s2 team and we're doing well. Perhaps this can be a model for you, Vegas; good luck and kick some ass!

yeah we (cubes) fired/traded every single player in the pre-s3
offseason, as our team is players who are all friends from
outside the game and we wanted to play together.

we had a decent mix of build/boost type players, not an extreme
on either end, and towards the 2nd half of s3 we got fairly
competetive -- beat the #1 ranked team 2 games in a row and
kept it close vs the other playoff teams. 1 season later we're
looking good for playoff bound and possibly even doing some
damage in them.

point is you can build up a new team pretty quickly and i look
forward to las vegas being competetive and very much also
appreciate your attitude on having a desire to be so.

stick with it. fortunes can change quite rapidly, especially
in this conference.

i should also mention the canton hall of famers followed a
very similar strategy, and they won the bbb#2 super bowl
their second season(?) in (s3).

not that i expect to win it all this season, there's a lot
of stiff competition in the upper tier here, especially in
bbb#2, just emphasizing that things can change a lot quicker
than one would expect.

I have a heavy recruitment policy in effect right now and we plan on climbing the ropes.

There I updated your list properly, you had one thing incorrectly assigned. Oh and thanks for the counter. I know you guys love beating a dead, decapitated, castrated, and a recently violated by a beastenecrophiliac horse.

You and me both are stuck in a bad time for rebuilding teams right now though korhor, recruiting players who can compete in this league immediately is a bitch and I wish the best of luck to you in the future. Try not to get too good before we play you though, I want to end that streak.
