But, our DC was one of the inactive players at that point, so I was using his playbook with a few adjustments I made for you guys. And the quote you supplied doesn't say I am the best DC, only that I await a challenge...which WE got from LA.

To answer you question...I take responsibility for ALL of our loses, including this one. I won't BS everyone with BOOST saving and the likes, we got beat by the best team in the Western Conf....oh well?!

when I say we haven't boosted, it's not opinion. it's fact. if you, or anybody else can't get understand the fact that we are missing anywhere from 15-19 SP per player for all but 5 players on my team (kicker and punter are boosted, 3 other players used 1), and that maybe, just maybe, it may have a small effect on our gameplay, you're freaking dense........ we could softcap 35 pt skills......... that's hardly minor. We made a calculated risk, and it's working. We beat Reno today. That pretty much guarantees us a playoff spot, even if we get beat by South Otto, Fresno, LA, and Bay Area the rest of the way out. In the meantime, skills that we will be boosting at the end of the year, are being trained at a cheaper cost. You can question it all you want, but it's sound strategy, and is used by some of the top teams in the game.

tooley, he meant "BS Boosting stuff" in the context of which it was wrote. Read it. He said he takes blame for his losses, and doesn't just say it is because of not boosting. stop being so sensitive, especially is you are as public as you are.

I think this was a good example of why in LA, we were excited about DBT joining the crew. Drill Bit? Absolutely he was shut down...what 4 catches for less than 40 yards. But in order to stop him, teams have to play in such a way that it leaves something open. I'm sure there's a way to completely shut down every aspect of our offense now but it's a much harder task than it used to be. You wanna stop D'Adrian and Tank? Go right ahead...but then you may get to hear DBT talk on here about his big day. Or you can try to insure DBT is a non-factor on the stat sheet. But then Tank and D'Adrian will buy him dinner along with their OLine after each game.

But damn I love this league...I hate for anyone to advance out of it. There's 7 teams that could on any given day beat anyone and no question there's plenty of participation. I know the idea is advancement but whether we win this year or someone else takes the prize, I'm gonna miss this season and the collective teams we have here right now.

i'd like to echo what Skully post on DBT... For those of you who thought i was a stat monkey i really could care less; rtl and skully or anyone on LA can vouch i have not said 1 word about any playing time or catches. Hell i am the OC i could do whatever i wanted to make sure he got the ball but thats not what i am here for.
