Kayoh,

It doesn't matter that they were pancaked.

That's not the point.

The point is that when they were pancaked/blocked, the runner was behind the blocker.

Don't miss the point - it's NOT an amazing run.

I didn't think it was that difficult? People just get too anxious, building a good power back requires some patience.

Never put a point into vision, look at the great blocking (and being behind the blocking).

Keep up with that no vision theory, I would love to see how it works when you play against LB's and DL's with vision. Please post again if you get into a competitive league. I would love to see the results, good or bad.

OK

I believe that HBs have a set "route" they will want to run once they get the ball - i.e. following the playbook. The problem is that fast HBs have to sit back and "wait" for the play to unfold for their blocks (thereby needing vision). Slower HBs have the blocks waiting for them as they simply follow the play's plan.

Note- from a game my team lost:

Short run, but you can see the lane and blocks ready.

What redardog said. You dont want to run into your blockers but at the same time you dont want to ignore speed. Thats a huge problem I have with my elusive back. I actually switched out my speed gear to agility gear last season because of it and vision is for elusive backs not power backs. You dont need it.

All I see is examples of players running over CPUs or rookies out of the D-Leagues.

Not saying your opinion is wrong, it just decreases the validity of it.

Roughly same level, all this season. Not all stellar plays but you get the idea.

Pre season 1 nothing worth posting. They killed us but i still averaged 4.1 yds

Pre season 2 nothing worth posting my worst game thus far.

You can take a look at my last seasons stats and see its no fluke.

well hes only lvl 12 atm, but i'm adding to agility at the moment. i'm training speed and i'm going to save the SP's that i get (probably 2 levels) and add that into speed. i'll end up with around 32 speed, and ive got like 35 agility atm. i might throw 5 into carrying.

next season i'll continue to train confidence/vision/and stamina, and add more points into speed and agility to cap them to 48.

equipment will be going into strength. when agility and speed get to 48, i'll throw 1 or 2 levels worth of points into confidence/vision/and stamina to get them to where they should be, and then work on some SAs. the work on the SAs will probably start at the end of next season, when he's around level 20. by then i hope to have the stamina to be a starting running back somewhere, since he's a backup atm.
