Carolina will get over it, if they are any good one loss won't matter and if they're not then one more loss won't make the difference

At least "they" didn't quit.........

I could dignify this with a response, but it's not worth the time or effort.

Obviously. If it were worth the effort, you'd still have two teams. BTW, I sure hope there have been no trades between the Rampage and the Voodoo in the past week.....

The team has 16 mil in the bank. Pretty sure it won't be down in the dumps for long unless the new owner doesn't put much effort into the team.

I agree Demario. The track record of BBB 14 owners gutting teams hasn't been very good lately. So when another team goes away everyone's first thought is it's being gutted. I would say that it appears that JFrost has tried to do the right thing here by leaving money in the bank for the new ownership.

Atleast he didn't do a little Cheatberry. Left the team in complete ruin with no money and no stadium upgrades. He left a lot of money in it.

Yawn....been through this. Have no desire to spend most of my day on here. It took a considerable amount of time to get RMR competetive, which I no longer have, so I figured it was best to let a new owner have a crack at the game. With 16 million, I think the new owner should be able to put out a team that can win pretty easily. As far as sending players to the Voodoo. I think if I was trying to stack the deck I would have traded the level 25 WR, 23 TD RB, or the level 25 DT I sent to Reno, instead of just signing the guys that are my friends to the team.

I think Reno may be the new favorite to win the west now...

For someone with no desire to stay on here, you sure enjoy spending your time on this board. The fact remains that you gutted one team and in the process benefited another team you just happen to own. Yawn your way through that one.........

I have a problem when somebody that doesn't know me attacks me. The only player I traded over to the Voodoo was the OT and that's because he wanted to go over there since I was signing a level 26 OT to replace him. That was two days prior to me selling the team back. The other two guys I cut. One signed there because his LVL 27 WR is on the Voodoo. The SS signed there because he's a friend of mine. Get your facts straight before you throw around accusations. If that were gutting or collusion, I wouldn't have left 16 million dollars for the new owner to build a team. I wasn't going to leave players on the team with an owner they didn't sign for. I think with 16 million bucks in the bank he should be able to build a more than competative team in a couple of days. Most of the guys in this league or in the expansion leagues would have cut off their left arm to have had that much cash to sign players.

I played for Rocky Mountain and I personally have no problem with the way Frost handled this. I, like most everyone else, would have liked some advance warning, but Frost did everything he could to move us to the teams we wanted and took care to make sure not only that we had a choice for as long as he could afford to wait, but he also refused any offer that wasn't for cash only. He left that team loaded and sent the bulk of the (now former) players to the places of their choosing. Frost is a good owner in my book.

And he's a quitter in mine..............

Perception is reality. You lose one game and you quit? The hell with that! We've lost every regular season game for two straight seasons trying to rebuild someone's gutted team. The best time to of done this would of been in the off-season, not after two games and one loss. Crap like this is what throws the league for a loop and ruins the game. I can understand you wanting to give up one of your teams, I've been stretched out like that before myself. but doing it mid-season is tough on everyone involved; from the new owner to the teams you have played (well Ambridge probably wouldn't say it was too tough, ) I'll predict right now, this team will win no more games this year, and will be lucky to crack the scoreboard. $16 million dollars or no, it's going to be next to impossible to put a competitive product on the field there for this season and possibly next. Been there, bought the t-shirt.
