Please define "too low." I think that'll show if this is going to be a joke or not.

Actually my post to jrry was the joke (notice I added him to the list above it). However, honestly your response doesn't surprise me in the least. As if some list is serious or not based upon where someone subjectively placed some random team in some random game on the internet...


As a matter of fact, I have gone ahead and created a Power Ranking in your name, and heck I even included comments...

Without further ado - pseudo Jed's Official Power Rankings, with comments included:

1. Philly - pseudo Jed's comments: "Well, we didn't even win the Eastern Conference Championship last year, or ever for that matter, but we consider ourselves the uncrowned Western Conference Champions!"

2-31. Everyone else blah blah blah

32. Bourbon Street - pseudo Jed's comments: "This team is not good at all. Any good team from the East would have killed them in the Bort Bowl. Even my team, who has yet to actually make it to the Bort Bowl. But hey, that is not a part of this discussion."

Seriously, any time you ask a bunch of random dudes on the internet to create lists with no real quantifiers required, it will somewhat be a joke. Trying to act like this ranking will have any bearing on anything is just ludicrous. But, hey, it will be fun for me (and posting about it already has, actually)...

Oh, and thanks to jrry for sending in his list VERY promptly. My guess is that he took 5 minutes to prepare it - and I am completely okay with that. (Does THIS make the list a joke?)

Anyhow, anyone else who wants to be a part of this sad-sack committee, get your rankings in sooner rather than later. And comments are encouraged, so long as you understand that I might or might not include them...

Did I ever say I think we should be #1? No. Did I say Bourbon Street should be last? No. But if no one gets to smack talk over rankings like this, what's the point of them?

I suggest pulling rankings out once every 4 games, thus we still get to see some rankings but you don't have to do it every two days!
