We've talked about this idea as well. You would have to take away the ability to boost to make it fair. Some a-hole would for sure bring in a team of 1s and then have them all boost at the end of the season.

We do pay, well most of us, but the game is beta.

Boost to win in the playoffs? the whole point of that league would be development, without a care for wins and losses. Winning it would be like winning the shit bowl.

And the Beta is in name alone. Once they started charging people to play, it is really no longer a "beta" game

I'm sure you would still get a shiny trophy for being winner of the shit bowl. Prolly incentive enough for some.

Come on now, I've seen plastic hub cap spinners and rear deck lid spoilers on 1980 something Ford Tempos. There are plenty out there who don't mind looking like jackasses, lol.

i would like to see a 'points rule' implemented for games like this one. if a team is down by a certain amount of points (50 in a half? quarter?) the game should be called and end.

Thats actually not a terrible idea. Lots of sports have Mercy Rules.

I still think giving the trophies for conference leaders instead of league leaders makes more sense.
That way you're comparing players that played the same opponents. But you would still have the one interconference game that would proably swing everything to which ever team drew the biggest turd. ::sigh::

Bumped it. I'm all for a minimum level cap for established leagues.

i actually had the same thought, and was going to suggest it as well, but i didnt want to get off topic in that particular thread. we are in complete agreement on that issue too.

Vegitto Hogan deserves all the trophys get the fuck off me bitches.
