Maybe try doing your AI over again and have a specific play for a situation like that...only giving out advise here.

I had the same problem. Going for it on 4th down from anywhere on the field. It ended up being the Late Lead setting. It was set for the last 120 seconds of EVERY quarter. I think our OC thought it was only for the end of the game. This damn AI is tricky!
