I am in the works of bringing in 2 more before the next game.
I understand completely. Most of last season was spent with our punt returner and a couple backup safeties at CB, with brief appearances by a guy who signed and immediately went inactive without following settings, and a kid who insisted on training on nothing but intense until we traded him - after he'd agreed to come play for us.
I know defensive linemen are also way up there in the hard to sign category. And I wish you luck - combined with your pass coverage unit, if you can fill those gaps, the defense takes a big jump in overall ranking.

The market is still beyond ridiculous in the usual categories: CB, DE, WR. I just started growing a new DE, but he won't be useful for a long time.

I've got a bunch of DEs and CBs, some of whom are getting to the levels of the people in the bidding wars. Not sure if I'm looking forward to that or not.
GwennA, I've got a completely off-topic question for you.
How do the teams in SA A #1 and #2, feel about having to move up into a league that has been around since season 1? Do they think they'll be able to compete?
It seems like they got kind of a raw deal to me. According to talk in the AA #1 forum, most people think whoever gets moved up is going right back down.
By the start of next season most teams in AA #1 will be starting a decent amount of lvl 30's.

I'm not sure they quite realize how much of a challenge is really ahead of them. If they can hang for a season, honestly, they should do ok with the effect playing down levels for a season tends to have on xp. They probably got a rough deal, but honestly, the teams I'm on that have moved up have still been pretty enthused to have done so for now, even when its been putting them into more established leagues.
As for Machu Pichu, they have no plans to be competitive right away, so its a little less of an issue there.
I saw that. The difference with most expansion teams moving up is the AA #1 used to be the A league. AA #2-4 are only in their 2nd season. We're in our 4th.
Hammerheads get revenge for lats season opener loss to Scranton ..but it wasn't easy
GG Scranton you guys had me worried. Like GwennA said you guys are very resourceful and could turn out a win on any given night. You guys are always a team not to be taken lightly..I know I plan the offense for 2 days. Your secondary is one of the tops...hard to plan for that Good luck to you guys the rest of the way

Good game. I need to finish the roster if I want to be fully competitive. Good luck the rest of the season.
Originally posted by GwennA I like the Hammerheads over the Menzingers, and a few of the scores I expect to be further apart, but on general principle, I agree with most of these.
Good call on the Hammerheads. We were hoping to make a statement, letting people know we were for real this season. I hope we can back it up for the rest of the season. GG Menzingers, good luck the rest of the season
