I like my roster the size it is at the Barstars and am only looking to add one more LB and CB to the mix. I do not like to stockpile players and pay them to not even participate in games or contribute to the team in any real sense. All of our players have the stamina to get back to 100 percent by next game and unless I notice a lag in energy or performance my dept problem will remain that way as long as I am an owner. Besides that the Barstars would love to prove BBB#14 wrong that this is the year they break out and make a playoff push.

We have improved our line greatly this offseason, hopefully Magneto will get more time to throw! Other than that, you are right on about us

Yeah I know post game and in game are not the same. Hence the lag in performance comment. We will see.

2-0 preaseason with defensive stands in the second half of both games. Man my guys sure are getting worn down.

It was just Elks Rapids and Minnesotta though dude, so zipit before we have a drunk fight. One thing I will say about the defense for Carolina though is that for the past two seasons they have been having to spend a whole ton of time on the field due to paying their dues on a rebuild. Most of those players had to put in lots of points and training into stamina just to keep their energy up. We are still thin on certain positions but the roster has certainly moved in the right direction and Carolina will do something this year they haven't done in two whole seasons now, win a regular season game. We'll consider ourselves fortunate if we are playing meaningful games in the second half of the season, but the team is energized and excited just to have a chance to finally be competitive.

Well Time to review my pre-season preidctions and see how I did...



1. Albuquerque Mustangs Actual - Reno 911
- Well I was not too far off. I did predict Reno would have a powerhouse offense and they did not disappoint. I orginally had Rreno at #3

2. Omaha Dogs - Actual - Omaha
- WOOT, got this one right on the button. Tough team and they opened the offense up to match that Defense.

3. Reno 911 - Actual - Albuquerque
- Looks like I had them confused with reno. I think this is more that the other 2 top ranked teams closed the gap then anything else.

4. Rocky Mountain Rampage - Actual - Houston Apollos
- Wow did I have this one wrong. Who could have forseen Rocky Mtns downfall. I did have the Apollos at #6 and much improved, but they out did themselves.


5. Orly Owls - Actual - Orly Owls
- Called this one right. Shanahan performed and the rest of the team stepped it up.


6. Houston Apollos - Actual - Oakyville Nungas
- Welll I had the Nungas at 7, so the bested me by one spot. Looks like they turned their luck around.

7. Oakyville Nungas - Actual - Chattenooga Quarantine
- OK, I owe the Quaratine an apology. I really underestimated this team. Well done proving me wrong!

8. San Fransisco Wildcats - Actual - San Fransisco Wildcats
- Another one I called right. These guys are developing nicely and should be in the mix next season as well

9. Kalamazoo Wolverines - Actual - Bar Stars
- OK caroline, looks like I was a bit too dismissive of your depth. Got this one WAY wrong. Once again, who could have predicted Kalamazoos turning over.

10. Chattanooga Quarantine - Actual - Wyoming Express
- Yep, I had the Quaratine all wrong, but was close to Wyoming's spot. Like I said look for the Express to be stopping at the playoffs next season.

11. Wyoming Express - Actual - Compton .45s
- I think this was the rampage? Nice finish for a team rebuilding.

12. Carolina Bar Stars - Actual - Ambidge Brigade
- Yes I know, I'm buying the next round Carolina... Ambridge is climbing up the standings each season and shoulod be competing for a playoff spot next season. Oh and I only missed them by one...

13. Ambridge Brigade - Actual - Trojan Warriors
- another team rebuilding, they are the top of rebuilding teams, other then compton.

14. California Destroyers - Actual - Cincinnatti Red Eyes
- Are these guys the old Furburgers? If so I missed by one ( seems to be a pattern here. )


15. Warriors - Actual - California Destroyers
- Considering what this team came to the plate with and what a bad situation the owner inherited, winning 2 games was huge.

16. Furburgers - Actual - Kalamazoo
- Well I just did not see kalamazoo going for the complete slash and burn rebuild. I hope it goes well for them. But thanks for screwing up my predictions!



Overall not bad. To all the playoff teams good luck. Just to let you know the competition in the A7 west is pretty fierce. The Marauders went 10-6 and missed the playoffs by a half game.
