I had a level 13 LB yesterday sign for a contract that paid him damn near HALF of what I was going to pay him and on a team full of CPUs, I was just left flabbergasted.

They all want to go somewhere that will let them "Be the Man", rather than just another piece of a very good team. Ego.

I get that but a team of CPUs? I mean come on now, he'd of started for me with a great group of guys surrounding him. I just don't get it. It's been nothing short of impossible to find a quality 10+ LB with a good build. Either the agent is a) 13 and/or retarded b) stupid and plays roulette to pick his team or c) has major ego issues and wants to be the star instead of part of a unit.

EDIT: or d) can't build a LB for shit and puts their equipment into THROWING, WHAT THE FUCK...I SAW A LB YESTERDAY WITH HIS EQUIPMENT IN THROWING.

lol He needs throwing to throw the lead blocker away before he makes a tackle.

We've had no luck signing LB's either. I still consider us lucky, because we have 1 agent with 2 perfectly built OLBs, and another agent (me) with 2 ILB - All four already boosted and level 7... Yet better than quite a few level 13 builds. (ie: Throwing builds)

I'd do some downright nasty things to get a couple stud LBs

Just signed a stud level 13 owned by Lensar, this guy is a class act. Signed for minimum cash/bonus has a great build and he seems like a really team-oriented guy. 99.99999999% percent of the free agents need to take a page out of this guy's book.

I haven't had much luck up until now but I'll take what I can get
