How do you guys feel about that?

If its the "best" of BBB tournament, then it should be the best 32 teams and not a subjective vote. Of course getting people to agree on the best 32 teams is virtually impossible. You could take the losers of the conference semi-finals in each league for 32 teams. But teams change an awful lot during the off season, so who's to say they're the best right now.

Since you're the organizer you should just take the bull by the horns and pick the best 32 out of everyone who signs up. You may not even get that many, who knows...

There is the tournament that I am talking about. It was what led me to want to start our own.

As far as format goes, that is what we have to talk about. It would be great to get the top two team from every league but it will be hard to determine just who that is. And if they are interested in it if they do.

So I was thinking of letting whoever is interested in playing in the tournament. Then having a committee give out the seedings. The highest seeded teams would have bye weeks at the beginning and wouldn't have to play until the field is narrowed down a bit.

I take it then you don't get experience points either, would obviously make sense. So would this be more for Braggin rights, pride and rivalry?

This is the best way I can think of for now, and the Louisville Nighthawks from BBB#1 would be up for it. Don't know that we are really in the best 32 of all BBB, but we'd like a chance to see where we stand. If it's a subjective assessment or a voting thing, not so interested.

I would rather let everyone who is interested and thinks that they have a shot of winning into the tournament. And then we will see how many teams we have and do it single elimination style. Try to keep teams in the same league from playing each other till they got to the finals.

Watch out for these two teams:
11.Brooklyn Bomb Squad (BBB#11) 36 Semis
12.Pittsburg Steel Riders (BBB#11) 39 Semis

These guys hit you hard and fast and before you know it you'll be lying face flat in the dirt. A good advice would be to put these guys on different sides of the tourny, that ways you won't have the 2 best teams take each other out too soon.

Also, you should provide links to each team that is participating so I can check them out without searching for them.

If there are no other interested teams, the Minnesota Lumberjacks will throw their name into the mix.
