Well the team obviously hasn't been fixed and the new owner looks to have sold back his team because he didn't want to put up with this. I sent in a support request so hopefully they can give this team a cash boost so any new owner would at least have a chance at rebuilding a team.

The team was broke before the playoffs if you remember. Check down the page slightly and you'll see the threads where people were trashing CB for it. We expected a windfall from Season 4 Season Ticket sales, and the new owner will get one if he's smart enough to take out a loan in the offseason and build anything at all to go with what we had already done. But the team was falling apart. I took my players and retired them because I have no time due to owning my own team. The QB quit us. Several other players were asking for releases after that.
Cberrry decided he didn't want to rebuild the team, so he sold it back. He released all the players, which is within the rules. He didn't strip the team of cash, because there was none to strip.
You guys might try getting over yourselves a bit.

We should be good to go... we won't be winning it all this season, but are looking to build a decent team and compete soon enough without selling the farm to do so. Hopefully this ends this thread and we can all start season 4 on a positive note. Good luck to everyone and look forward to playing some GLB with you all!

Welcome to the league. It's a damn shame you have to start with the situation left ya. Some people play the game right with some kind of integrity and then there are others who are spoiled brats and throw tantrums when they lose, strip their clubs of everything and take talent elsewhere. Welcome to the league. It's a damn shame you have to start with the situation left ya. Some people play the game right with some kind of integrity and then there are others who are spoiled brats and throw tantrums when they lose, strip their clubs of everything and take talent elsewhere.
