Thanks for discussing this Mike. Just out of curiosity, it seems like when Julius gets sacks/hurries he rarely even engages with the LT. In that case is there any point in SA tree, or do simply realy on superior speed and agility?

P.S. Feel free to tell me to go fly a kite at any time.

You'll see my guy shed blocks a lot of the time, but the running around the LT I believe is related to tunnel vision. I believe it actually changes the DEs pathing on the play. I don't really have any evidence to support this other than the fact that it seems to happen more often the more points I put into it. It also obviously relys on speed and agility to get there in time after running all the way around.

Interesting...you are absolutely right about the pathing. Your guy definitely goes around the LT, whereas mine go through him (sometimes!). I hadn't considered that Tunnel Vision would have that kind of effect right from the snap (I was thinking more along the lines of First Step). You've really given me food for thought...thanks!

I think it's both. TV helps with the pathing around the OT, and FS gives you the acceleration to shoot past him on that path without being touched.

Thanks Willie. As for my new team (I have a few now, unfortunately), I'm assuming your talking about the Zambia Zombies? If so, I've got nothing but great things to say! Looking forward to the competition in Africa Pro this season.

Doesn't it make more sense for vision to be what causes the pathing? Tunnel vision should only activate when you're close to the QB, and it wouldn't make sense for you to be close enough to activate it right when the ball is snapped.

Ahh...dviss1 is great! And best of luck in Tasmania...Draven seems like an excellent owner, as well.

it doesnt say anywhere on the tooltip that you have to be close to the qb to activate tv, only "when rushing the passer".

That would make some sense, but I noticed an increase in this happening the more points I put into tunnel vision.
