Actually, I thought it was a decent post and didn't come off as "jumping down his throat" although your response smacks of throat jumping.

It takes hours to sort out who to vote for (I actually had chosen Perfect Boobs as my CB) and i was shocked by some of the results, I didn't even consider the Isotopes SS... i would say he was 6th or 7th on my list, but to be honest I can't remember even seeing his name...

No-one should be attacking Mailstrom for putting the time and effort into sorting this out, it's something I wouldn't want to do.

I never said this either, and on the contrary I stated "Thanks to everyone who voted, to Mailstrom taking the time to do this and Congrats to the Pro Bowlers." Which means I actually respect this whole process, I just had to stick up for one of my team mates.

Please read and understand my entire post before making assumptions.

My opinion on who should have gotten in is moot, thats what makes it my opinion. It has no effect on anything. But my point is we need all 32 teams to vote, that way we can get an accurate vote total to determine who should be honored. That's it. I'm not singling you out Mailstrom, rather I am pointing the finger at the teams who decided, for whatever reason, not to vote.

Thanks again for taking the time to deal with all of us.

This is why I will not do this next season, specifically becasue of you RedskinOne and this comment. I did this for the players because I think it adds to the game. This "douche" will not waste the 3-5 extra hours it takes in the future.

There was no throat jumping, I just want everyone to relazie the time and effort people put into this. It is easy to come here and say I think so-and-so should be on the list, but at least backup your claims with some numbers. I took at least 3-4 hours selecting mine to make it fair, and for someone to come here be passive-aggresive by adding "Next year more teams need to vote to get the players the deserve it the most up there...", just doesn't fly with me.

I am sorry I used your post to start this off uberbad, but what I wrote was for all the posts like this from this seasona and last season. I will not try to add to this forum again, I see now my time is better used on my own team.

Erm, where did he say that those comments were aimed directly at you?

Just curious, because he kind of specifically stated that it was an "in general" sort of response, and not at anyone.

Seems to me, however, that his words struck a nerve, and struck deeply, by the rather vocal, and profound, nature of your rebuttals.

Just something to think about.

When you quote someone's post you are usually referring directly to that person, as I am doing now. In addition to this method of response, Mailstrom chose to use the words "you" referring to me, as I was the one he was responding to. Just for you I'll bold the key points that are referring to me, cuz I'm such a nice guy

And you should think about adding something to the conversation rather than coming in here rather haphazardly and insulting me, something which I will not stoop down to.

Cant believe poor old Emmitt Smitthers didnt get into the Pro Bowl team. He ran for almost 1200 yards in the regular season at an average of over 5 yards a carry.

Awesome season from him.

Lerner is my fella too! He is only a backup at my team now too. We have some real strength at FB. Nukem was awesome in the second half of the season and would probably have made the pro bowl squad if he'd joined at the start.
