The new owner might need a season or two to rebuild but it will that much more rewarding to give the teams that have walked all over the Empire a sound thrashing.

Im for it. A bit late in the thread, but I dont see anything wrong with giving the team to someone who will care for it and make the best of the team they can. It will enhance the quality of the league.

I dont know how well my team ran in the league before I got it, but I am hoping we can give you guys a better run for your money this year, in the East. Were shooting for .500.

Just as long as he keeps the name. They've become too iconic to be anything else

I sent a PM to the new owner of the Richmond team, and he said that he has plans to keep the name of the team the way it is...

New owner of Richmond Empire here, just wanted to say thanx for the support I've been getting. I do plan on trying to win a few games this time around, I see that the old owner allowed the team to just get runover every game... I think they actually scored one touchdown last season, pitiful. Hopefully I can do a better job... BTW I need some good GM's anyone have any suggestions? I fired the old one and I don't plan on giving to much power to any I hire either.

Best of luck Corey. We all know how hard it is to turn around a team like Richmond when you are in a quasi-high level league like this one.

not really, obviously this team failed completely last season. I know the owner was mostly to blame, but the GM had full power as well. My thoughts are to find someone to comliment me in putting this team back together, not another person that probably didn't do much.
I need all the luck I can get too haha. But its all good, I don't mind the rebuilding process too much, as long as I can win a couple games I'll feel accomplished.

Good luck Cory on turning it around and getting some W's.

Was the GM even active? The coroner might be the only one giving him a ride. Did you try poking him with a stick to see if he was alive?
