I'll admit I voted mostly for Dallas players, along with quite a few Coruscant, Portland, and Seattle players.

It's tough to go on stats alone since stats alone would probably say a 16-0 Dallas team had no 1st teamers and maybe a few second teamers at best.

I would disagree, though my votes were not entirely based on stats (As some positions, it is hard to find stats and sometimes the stats are deceiving).

i'm sorry if you think i'm making a mockery of your voting. i am not.

feel free to remove my votes. i voted for Longhorns across the board.

i voted for my teammates because they are the people i like, otherwise i'd go play for another team.

So we're on the same page:
1] If you honestly think every player on your team is better than everybody else on every team in the conference, that's your prerogative. I strongly disagree, but it's your opinion.
2] The vote isn't asking for who you like. There are a couple of characters who I am not friends with, but I still recognize that they had outstanding individual seasons, and they received my vote.

The idea is to identify the best players in the league this regular season. If you want the players on the best team in the regular season, well, that roster has already been decided: http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=1442

That said, for the most part, it looks like people are continuing where we left off last year, which is very good news based on not only the diversity of last year's roster, but how great seasons actually were recognized.

Not that I don't appreciate what was done but was this scratched?

If you feel there is somebody else, not in a starting role, who is worthy of Pro Bowl consideration, please send me a PM.

Becuase I sent an email with some back ups with some very competitive numbers and performances that aren't listed and I see two of our starters aren't listed? For instance a guard that was 4th in the conference in Pancakes and 3rd out of the guards (only trailing his two teammates). Possibly you limited it to only 2 players (or 1 for some) for each position?

I tried to accommodate as much as possible. In order to make it not only easier for me, but streamlined across the board, I kept the number of players per position consistent across the board. I apologize if it means some people didn't make the ballot. If you feel I have made a serious error, let me know and I can fix the ballot... Otherwise, the next best alternative, if you feel someone not put on the ballot is worthy, is to vote for them via write in.

Edit - In your team's case, I did adjust a few of them, but as mentioned in the above paragraph, for ease and position limitations, I wasn't able to do every request.

With a limit of 2 (or 1) per position I think you made the right choices. I was just wondering since your post in the other thread sounded like some others would be on the ballot.

I originally wanted to do that, but then opted to keep the number of players per team consistent. My ultimate intent was to have people let me know if they felt there was a backup who was just as worthy if not more than a starter for consideration, so the backup wouldn't be praying for a write-in vote.

Hahahah your poll was Chad Rolled! I know it throws off the voting but whoever did it was pretty creative. Kinda reminds me of this great story......

On April 4, 2008 many web communities, starting with Fark.com, urged their readers to vote "Never Gonna Give You Up" for the 8th inning sing-along at Shea Stadium for the New York Mets season. The Mets posted a web poll to select a song, and left a blank field for write-ins.

On April 7, 2008 the Mets organization announced "Never Gonna Give You Up" as the winner with more than 5 million votes. The Mets subsequently announced a run off between six songs will be played at Shea Stadium for the next six games starting with "Never Gonna Give You Up" on April 8, 2008.
