Yeah, it was looking like we may get lucky and end up with a very competitive league next year, now it looks like Alpha is going to have to put up with some flaps =\

I forgot about Lyon. This sucks. But I can understand guys not having the time to keep up with the work load.

That's good news. I like the idea of a nucleus of the Dragons sticking together. Good luck in your endeavours. Copenhagen will be missed in Alpha. You guys brought a lot to the WEPL.

Its funny, running the team really doesnt take much time for me. Recruiting, on the other hand, is like licking razor blades.

I tried recruiting for longer than 20 minutes one time and my eyes started bleeding

I wish there was a draft so I didn't have to recruit.

I'm starting to hate people who self gut their team to 'protect' their players.

I understand it to a point, but it is so god damn uneccessary when Support will arrange to sell the team to an established GM.

That's an interesting idea. Make new players start in the dleagues and draft them out of there. of course, there may not be enough new players to do that initially.

If they were to start the game over again, that might be an interesting way to do it.

The problem is that not all GMs want to own a team. Maybe the guys on his team that wanted to own a team already had one or were not already GMs?

I tried to go the GM route, but it was not possible sadly.

A draft is a terrible idea. Players are basically pawns in this game, and taking away their freedom to sign wherever they want would probably kill interest in the game.

Not to mention that a guy from the D-Leagues would never make any impact whatsoever in this league....

Two key contributors for the Warriors this year were signed by myself from the D-Leagues before season three began.

Depending of course on how strong your team is, I wouldn't rule out scouting the D-Leagues if you're looking to fill the bottom of your depth charts at certain positions, i.e. #5 CB.

Who? Your lvl 11 CB who didn't make a tackle all year and hasn't logged on for over 2 weeks? If you're talking about your lvl 20 CB, then that guy shouldn't even have been in the D-league at the start of the season.

Other than your backup FB with 5 TDs, I don't see any low level player on your team that made a "key contibution".

While I agree you can find some useful depth in the D-leagues, there isn't any kind of talent there that would warrant having some kind of draft. A useful bench player wouldn't help a team like Paris-Asnieres or South Texas get better (or even a team like DFools or Scorgasms).

Nope. There's a very specific reason why he's on the Wembley roster.

Agreed - but the point is that he was in the D-Leagues, we found him and he's helped the team.

You aren't looking hard enough.

That's not what you intimated in a previous post...
