40 speed is overkill for a DT. Agility should reach the soft cap asap, 30 speed is just right for a DT.



if he wants a pass rushing DT and his strength is over 60 and his agility is going up around 50, 40 speed will give him a very good pass rusher. Helps a lot for when you get around the defender and you want to hit that qb instead of just getting a hurry.


My speed is only 32-ish and he gets sacks just fine. Better served spending those points elsewhere.

Yeh Speed isn't the issue usually my guy is 28 speed right now... I'm just training it to 30, but it's agility that really matters after strength gets you past blocks...

Can you guys tell me what I'm doing wrong here?

Level 15 DT.

Strength: 49.38 Blocking: 13.77
Speed: 28.59 Tackling: 29.77
Agility: 39.87 Throwing: 10
Jumping: 11.71 Catching: 8
Stamina: 34.5 Carrying: 7
Vision: 24.54 Kicking: 7
Confidence: 19.66 Punting: 8

All equipment in Strength, bringing it up to 58.38. Clearly I need to just keep moving up the Agi/Str?

Get agi to the soft cap and then back to str to the hard cap. Everything else looks good maybe even a bit much into some but those two need to get higher and you should be ok.
