I was wondering how the 4,5 & 6 playoff seeding would work. I was hoping that we could sneak into that 4th spot so we could have a home game and get some more loot, but no such luck. There really was no advantage as far as play goes. Playing the Rahls is going to be a tough order, but so would it playing BYB or the "Babalon" Beavers.
Feels good to be in the playoffs after that disaster of a season a year ago. Good luck to all, as we saw last year, anyone can win.
Originally posted by Yourdad Does anyone know how the playoff seeding works? It has us as the 4th seed, but we lost to the 6th seed Vegas, and we both have the same record. There is a 3 way tie with the 4-6 seeds all having the same record, and we did beat the 5th seed Beavers, so maybe they are > Vegas and we beat them so it put us as the 4th. I guess it could have to do with total points? Largets margin of victory? I just dont know how it works.
I read a post in the main forums by one of the Developers. I think it was Bort. If there is a 3 way tie it goes to (I think though this may be in the wrong order) Total points scored, Total points allowed, Offense, Defense then a whole bunch of other things.
apparantly thats correct, it goes on total points scored rather than points scored in the head to heads which is strange, not to mention freakin annoying as just cost us over $1m by the looks of it.
yeah I have seen it, but it seems daft that its not H2H points scored between the tied teams as the decider rather than what points you scored against other teams .
