It wasn't stat padding guys, I want you to know that first and foremost. Not one player on my team worries about stats over victories. This game was about catching up in total points to Sarajevo, because if they beat Sheboygan next game then its a 3-way tie for 2nd place in Alpha...the tie-breaker being total points scored. Yes, I ran the score up...kill me. This team is a victom of blowouts every single game, and this is the Pro league. They don't belong here, and I'm not gonna change my strategy to "take it easy" on them. We exploited the mismatch of our WR's against their weak level 2 CB's. Trust me, our team energy took a hit because of it!

By the way, I'll never call someone out for ever running up a score. If anyone can run the score up on BHB by exploiting a mismatch like this, please feel free to do so.

You had the chance to run up the score with good reason, because as you stated, you needed to catch up incase there is a second place tie.

That's all that needs to be said. No one should be looking down their noses about this. It's not your job to take it easy on anyone.

well also, just last game Sarajevo scored over 200 against them...just solidifies my reasoning of doing this. To beat Sarajevo in total points at the end of the season, we have to score better than they did in their "cupcake" games...because we all know thats where most of those points came from.

I just added four LBs to this team and I have no problem with the game plan of our opponent.

It is a flaw with the game that leads to this matchup, which is not the fault of our opponent.

Some feel the same way when teams that beat them 118-0 lose in the playoffs.

Damn, now I'm sad to see this team getting relegated more than likely. Duff Man, put that team together ASAP and stay here in the Pro's! Even though I made my QB, Scott Slater, specifically for your FBG team only to see you already had a QB...

Nice to see a FBG in this league though.

The only reason we scored so much was because of the 16 turnovers.

I don't see the problem with the score. When I played on Barger Hill in the 1st season, they were always a good passing team, and when you look at the team they were playing what did you expect to happen? Like they said they were trying to improve their seeding by scoring a lot of points, it just turned out their points came from passing, if it was a 50/50 split between rushing td's and passing td's would this thread even exist?

Ah, an ex-burglar! Nice to see ya around man, didn't know you stuck in the Eastern Europe leagues.

And by the way, 7 TD's were defensive, 7 TD's were running, and 25 TD's were passing. Anyway, we're just beating a dead horse here. I feel no remorse and the new owner of the team doesn't think I was wrong for doing so. Hopefully within a few seasons we won't be able to do this to any team, because it really isn't good for the league. Sorry for those of you that are just stat hogs and that are butt-hurt because you may have lost your place in the stat leaderboard, but honestly we did it only to beat out Sarajevo in total points...and after seeing they put up over 200 against them just the last game, I feel no shame in what we did.

As a GM on one of the teams in this League, I say Kudos. I never have a problem with teams running up the score.

Yeah I also dont see the deal .. if the rest of the teams in Alpha are going to do it, then you have to do it too. No worries from me. It makes the stats in Alpha more silly, but what can you do, they were already silly. I completely understand needing to have points, unless Helsinki beats Budapest right now we are a victim of our good sportsmanship, we didnt play our starters (as much) for Silesia and Atlantis (like we always havent for games we knew we would win) and now we are like 50 points behind Stalingrad, thats how it goes.

Level 6 guy had a nice pick.. LOL.. too dang funny. What the heck is that team doing in a PRO league.. Oh and I feel sorry for everyone that was trying to be at the top of the stats chart. With any luck you can play these guys too.
