I could care less brother, I was just trying to help the Forum community out by offering yet another way to add realism to this game. Sorry mine is free. I'm not knocking you for that. What I'm upset with is that you chose THIS thread to let everyone know about it. This thread is about me offering my logo services, and when someone comes in and says "Hey, here's a different place you can go" of course i'm going to take offense. You could've very easily made another thread to advertise instead of squatting in mine.

Ahem...back to the topic at hand. I've already got a handful of logos to work on later tonight and tomorrow, but please feel free to get ahold of me if you're wanting one.

Rather than trying to parrot someone else's hard work for your own personal gain, (making money off this site is a pretty clear-cut violation), you could take the high road like these guys and simply do them for free ...

Whether you realized it or not prior to starting this spam brigade, whoring yourself out on the developer forums in the interest of monetary gain is poor form.

That said, I doubt you gave this much thought in the first place before launching your personal flex point crusade.

This guy does them for free, he does take donations. His work is excellent. The site is under maintenance until the 14th or 15th, he got some new equipment that will make it easier to do the artwork. This dude is good.

I'm making custom knee pads for 10 bucks a pop. Send me a private message if interested.

Point me in the direction of something from the admins that says making a logo for someone for a small fee is not allowed and I'll stop. I'm a busy guy with a life and a job, so my time is money. I'm asking for a measly $3, which is going to be spent right here at GLB buying more FP. Massive monetary gain indeed

Developer forums? These are public messageboards for all the players of GLB, and this forum in particular is frequented by owners and GMs, people who might be looking for a custom logo.

Jesus Christ, if I was asking for $10 for a logo then I wouldn't be surprised to catch some flak, but it's $3. I'm not holding a gun to your head to make you pay me. I simply put the option out there for those interested. Crucify me.

It doesn't matter if it's $3 or $300, you're still trying to make money on someone else's efforts.

You know the old adage, right? We've already established what you are ... now we're just setting your price?

Like I plainly stated in my last post, show me where the admins say that you cannot use this forum to advertise logo creation for a small fee. If you can show this to me, then I'll stop. Simple as that.

If I could bypass the money transaction and instead have people transfer flex points into my GLB account then I would do that, but no such system is in place (and apparently will never be implemented because of potential for abuse). This money I'm making that you're having a baby-crisis over is being put right back into GLB, so in effect the people who run this game are actually gaining money by me doing this.

Quit trying to be the morality police and mind your own business.


For those of you who are aren't here just to start arguments with me and are actually interested in having a custom logo made, I've posted links to a few more samples in the first post.

The guy does good work he did a great job on my logo and would recommend him to anyone. Very fast and very good communication. It's worth the money to put your stamp on this league.

I think the whole point of a logo is to be simple and to the point. Not many people want a great deal of complexity in a logo. For instance, the NIKE swoosh. It's internationally known and it is extremely simple. The apple on Apple computers, very basic and simple. That is what a logo is supposed to be.

figured i put my 2 cents in this since ive read all the posts...ive seen better work...plain and simple. Not worth even $3 bucks in my mind. You can reply eggplant but i wont see your response cause i wont be coming back to this thread. I didnt like people like you in CD and I dont like it here in GLB.

I don't understand why people are jumping all over this guy. The work he has done looks good. I would also be pissed if someone came into my thread and cut my throat by posting links to other web sites. Let Eggplant do his thing. If you don't like it, don't buy it. Let other people decide where and how they want to spend their money. Or make their money.

His work, or more to the point, the quality of work is irrelevant. It is his suggestion that his work is so far above anything you or someone you know could do for you, that is unfair and a little (excuse me) lame.
