Oh lighten up. People should be able to mention their own players anyway. Afterall, the person that watches your player the closest is you.

Then start a "pimp my player" thread.
I was trying to get a discussion about season mvps and all anyone has said is look at my guy (tomcollins being an exception)

You did get a discussion going about season MVPs. If you don't agree that someone had a good season or deserves to be in the discussion that's fine, but simply saying, "you can't nominate your own guys" is not adding to the discussion. It's making nobody want to discuss.

MVP's for the Fresno Snakes
Offense: HB Sonny Bill Williams - 349 carries, 1464.5 yards, 15 TD's
Second in the league in rushing, was the bread and butter of our offense this season
Edit: And these stats are before we play the worst team in the league next week.
Defense: CB Kirk Spencer - 79 tackles (most of which in special teams), 1 sack, 7 INT, 2 INT TD's, 33 PD, 1 FF
Was the superstar in the special teams game for our team and came up with big plays on defense all year, scoring on two of them

If I was going to pimp my player, I'd mention Satchmo Miguel at linebacker, since he's among the league leaders in tackles and leads our team by a large margin.
But I didn't.
I mentioned our CB Dakota Jackson, who leads the whole of BBB 16 West in interceptions, in 3 fewer games than the other league leaders.

You don't have to pimp your players anyways Stahu, being a pimp yourself.
Oh he went there.

If you can't look past yourself for one stinking minute to nominate someone else you've noticed that is pretty damn good, then you deserve criticism. I'd say SNK's QB and pretty much all their receivers looked like MVPs today.

Nonsense! No life lessons will be learned while playing this game other than don't spend money on a Beta game.

Yea, we'll see what kind of stats he gets against Golden State tomorrow. He could be a shoe-in as the best RB in our league statistically.

HB Sonny Bill Williams - 34 carries, 429.5 yards, 7 TD's
Not bad.
