I like watching Favre, and the Favre magic is always fun too, but, let's be honest here......he's really just very good....not great.

Peyton Manning is the SINGLE most overrated QB of ALL FOOTBALL HISTORY. The networks were sucking his dick the day he got drafted, and they're still sucking his dick every time they bring his name up on the news to this day. How about you put ol' Peyton up against the Bart Starrs, or Joe Montanas, or maybe a Warren moon here and there and see just how he stacks up. I don't think the guys needs to get praised as the best QB of all time (like they actually DO SAY in the news here in Indiana like lemmings) simply because he won ONE Superbowl...wow, let's see him do it on a team with no pass protection. His statue-standing pocket-passing ass wouldn't be able to put one foot in front of the other under extreme pressure, as is proven when he IS under pressure by a great defense...

I like big ben but he can't win a game passing the ball like other QB's can. I think he relies on the running game a little bit to much.

Peyton is over rated? Hmm I don't know man, he has like 5 years straight throwing it for more than 4000+ yards? I think he is the best QB in the game right now. I don't think he is really bad under pressure, Brady is bad under pressure but I really don't think Peyton is. But it's just my opinion. Could you please get us some facts or videos to convince us?

I watch Colts games a lot. Please name an active QB who doesn't play bad under pressure.

...Brett Favre? haha...that's easy. He was the best at making something happen when everything turned to shit in the pocket, hands down.

I agree that the Steelers rock. I've been a fan forever. I don't think it's fair to say that Ben relies on the run to much as that is Steeler tradition and that's how they play the game. I'm by no means saying he's an elite QB though. He is good obviously and I think he'll be a very good QB someday.

I know it's easy to go out on a limb and call someon overrated, but come on.....Peyton! I am not even a fan of his, but I am a realist.

Rating of 94.7 career.
306 TDs to only 153 INTs.
completion ratio of 64.2%
over 40,000 yds passing.

and a rating of 97.7 in the postseason for his career.
overrated?! C'mon man.....look at the facts.

You can only gauge a player by the team he is on. And don't forget, when Peyton came to the Colts, they were one of the worst teams in the NFL.......which also proves that he is a Great QB.

Actually, the Colts were the worst team in the NFL at the time......hence the 1st pick and Peyton.

Jim McMahon
I'm The Punky QB, known as McMahon
When I hit the turf, I've got no plan
I just throw my body all over the field
I can't dance, but I can throw the feel
I motivate the cats, I like to tease
I play so cool, I aim to please
That's why you all got here on the double
To catch me doin' the Super Bowl Shuffle

Not sure which Favre you were watching, but when the pocket broke down and he was under pressure was when he went 'gunslinger' and threw incredibly ill-advised passes. His WRs made him look good by somehow snagging a bunch of those wild throws. He did some great and athletic things as a QB (but let's put his ironman title to bed already - Jim Marshall, a DL who REALLY took some punishment on every play, started 282 games in a row), but good under pressure was not one of his positives.

Steve Young and Joe Montana were great at handling pressure, and a lot of that credit has to go to Bill Walsh's version of the WCO. Marino was a rock in the pocket. But if you want the best ever under pressure it was Johnny Unitas. (As long as you overlook the SB vs. Joe Namath and the Jets)

And another guy that actually knows his QBs.....yay.
