remember that pipe dream of a 4 day off season?
those were the days
As someone who's had some severe coordinator burn out at times, I miss the old 8 day offseason. Yeah it likely only takes 4 days or so to take care of recruiting, VA resets, etc. but the rest was the only real break we get from the crazy time investment this game requires. But I'm thankful as hell, every time it goes over 4. In a perfect world it would be more like a rigid 7/5, with no guessing, feels like 12 would be a happy medium between the old 16 days, and the insanity of only 8 days in between. Longer offseason, to give support a slightly larger window to get all the team movement requests and what not done.
That said, I understand those that JUST build, getting bored as hell during the break. But the rest of us, appreciate getting a breather, even if only a tiny one.
