Na, got a great team around him. When the crunch comes, he fails. He is good so long as the team is good, the great ones pull a team along with them.

So Jimmy reminds you of Griesie? A super bowl winner, MVP, and HoF? Weird

Worse QBs than Jimmy G have Super Bowl rings. He's no Tom Brady, but he's perfectly acceptable at QB as long as SF builds in the right team around him.

Say it with me: "Super Bowl-winning quarterback Brad Johnson."

I can top your Brad Johnson with a Trent Dilfer and I'll double down with a Joe Namath

Yea Namath sucked

No way. Was huge Dolphins fan back then. I saw the longest game... the Garo flubkick... the undefeated season... the good players leaving for the short lived World League... Czonka... Kick... Warfield.... Earl Moral was the starting QB when that season kicked off... then got hurt and Griese stepped in and the rest is history. I probably wouldn't be 1/10th of the football fan I am if not for Shula and the mighty 'Phins.

Ben has a bad game and won. He isn’t a bad quarterback
Johnson
Dilfer
Namath were not good quarterbacks
Ok. Namath was good. Just not HOF deserving

So there I was. At my grandmothers watching that game. It’s the last minutes of the 4rth and dad says it’s time to start the hours drive home. I was pissed. And when I get home the game is still on. Lol. Some game.

It, he wasn’t a great QB. In today’s game he might make it as a back up. Probably not though.

Living in the same state and you bring this up? I will top that - Daryll Lamonica going down and an old geezer by the name of Theo, errr George Blanda punting, kicking and quarterbacking my Oakland Raiders to glory in the day. At least until Ken (Jesus) Stabler came along. F Pitts. and Miami! The Cardinals were in their 4 - 9 - 1 era.
