The free dot is the carrot dangling in front of our face to keep us playing. Refunds should probably be issued to anyone who bought flex. At this point make this whole game free until it dies for good. 55 free dots for everyone

This really screws up my build plan, as I boosted my 21 level DOTs to level 24, so when the game was over, I would get the daily VXP today on day 11. That VXP the DOTs will not gain, unless someone also do take cares of that too.
