i already have my QB set to 100% open man, yet he continually throws into double and triple coverage. what settings should i be using to limit that?

What is the QB's "Throw Away Risk Threshold" set to? If Aggressive, instead of Medium or Conservative, he is more likely to throw into multiple defenders.

set at medium. i wasnt sure what "someshat covered" meant. that sounded like if anyone was even close. i'm fine throwing to covered receivers, i just dont want to throw into double and triple coverage.

Especially when there are other wide open receivers at that time which I see a lot.

yeah, i know part of that is progression, but its so disappointing when you know the next receiver in the list is wide open and yet the pass goes into triple coverage. i thought that it might be vision, but i see most of the qbs doing it are in the mid to upper 90s.

something like that could also be a confidence issue

Confidence affects the QB's pressure reaction. Acording to Bort, there's a threshold of when the QB's risk of throwing it out-weighs his risk of holding it. It could be, a little more Confidence would increase the pressure threshold enough to get to that next WR before his"alarm" goes off.

probably wrong but everytime i see one of those running qbs on a pass play they just zip through progressions, even going back to the original guy.

shhhhhhhh

getting back on topic since this is the FAQ forum, confidence is at 82 for level 73. i thought that this seemed about right when i looked at other successful QBs.
