Let me speak up for the bad players of this game. There are quite a few of us putting money in the game. I had two teams this year and more than ever before I split them up into an A team and a B team. The A team was sent up to Pro, where it not only went 5-11, but didn't win a competitive game all season. Our closest win was 47-0 and our closest loss was 38-16. My B team went 13-3 in Regional Pro and then won a playoff game before losing a tough one 21-7 in a game that I got outcoached. My point is, There is such a gap between the most dominant Regional Pro team and the weakest competitive National team. I don't know if teams like mine (and there are more than a few because I see them dominating RP and getting killed in NP every season) are supposed to keep bouncing back and forth, but it just feels like there should be a level between the two.

Regional pro is very weak
National Pro is moderately weak
the gaps are in both dot quality and coordinating
a LOT of the top dot builders either quit or only make dots for teams with good coordinators or their friends

Non-playoff WL teams should always demote, as that's one of the main reasons the league was fun. Nothing really matters anymore, though. Haven't most of the best coordinators already quit?

"I'm retired from coordinating. Thanks."
Quite a sneaky way to call yourself one of the best coordinators. Got nothing against that statement, cuz i agree. Reeeaally sneaky tho.

No way should there be more leagues.

THIS!! When you have great Dots, Game Planning is over-rated. Most Teams just run you in the dirt with the Big I Formation.... Not much to Game Plan anymore since they added the Big I, imo.

Developers are not paying attention to GLB classic anymore. Just look at the 4 pee wee silver leagues that are all mostly CPU. There really only needs to be 1 but there have 4 for the last 4 seasons now. there is no way Bort notices that CPU teams have infiltrated the pro leagues so no changes will be made.
The next consolidation of leagues will be when GLB classic goes dark. It probably has 1 more season left.

I predict 2 more seasons til it goes dark. Paying for servers has to out weigh the Flex incoming by now

Is that a 1000 a week every week or no to upkeep the site?

unless he has them on a service contract i cant imagine his monthly cost is that great. If he hosts them onsite, if he hosts them off/site i still cant imagine it being that costly.
I guess the question becomes is he making enough to pay his staff.

yep
Back when I suggested doing away with the gold/silver set-up and just having two leagues in PW the usual suspects screamed "omg u hate PW and tryin' to kill it".
Same goes for WL.
I don't know why people can't face facts.

He doesn't pay them so that's not an issue.

It'll be up as long as ppl keep playing. They do need to consolidate a lot though. Make less teams available for sale and so players and DCs and OCs can all get onto more consolidated teams.
