Obviously you can't rock with 25 vision (you might be able to maybe), but I hate nothing more than seeing a receiver with more than 70 vision.

As far as agility, I think any defender who isn't on the Line, or a blitzer should have higher vision than agility, especially in coverage. The guys who do vision 2nd and agility 3rd have much better stats in man coverage (in general) as far as receptions allowed to targets. There are only a few times when agility should be the 2nd or 1st attribute in dot building.

Also, you are all forgetting the rules of the thread.

It isn't about whether you can rock with 25 vision or 75 vision. It is about faking and how well your fakes take. Higher vision helps that. I personally love it if a Slot guy can rock 70 vision as long as it doesn't push his other skills down too much.

In terms of agility, people talk a lot about this, but there is a distinct difference in routes between a guy pushing 70 agility and a guy rocking 90. The only way I would take a WR with less than mid 80's agility is if he is like 170+ speed and full of fakes. But that is for specific routes only. TE the same thing but I would never be able to use a guy with sub par agility in my current offense at TE.

0 cares about the rules.

It is also the go-to #2 atty at elusive HB, WR, CB, Safety and it is not necessarily the slam dunk #2. If you are a fake+run WR, I can make a strong argument for catching being more important.

Keep in mind I have a WR who is going to play his now-starting plateau career with like 125 agility, so I do believe it has it's uses. However if you aren't specifically attempting to break free in coverage with cuts, or evade defenders with elusiveness, it should at least be considered that it isn't your 2nd most important attribute.

Ya and that WR is awful. Though you also used to believe that those high agility guys were better at catching too.

Vision will get your receiver more altered routes. The higher, the more often he will change the route to go where there isn't a defender. Otherwise, it's value is questionable.

The route being altered is all the qb. Which depends on hurries more than anything. The receiver only alters himself because of the pass. Otherwise that is just agility and creative route running that alters the route.

I wasn't talking about creative, you see that in the little "wiggle" a receiver makes when running routes. A receiver even with Run Route to Exact will alter routes, sometimes in completely different direction, out instead of an in, or turn it up field instead of running an in route. The more vision, the more often he does it. You know those times a receiver will turn in very short to catch a pass for zero yards or one yard gain. Very frustrating, the lower the vision, the more often you see them.

That isn't vision. It's the qb's throw.

What's funny is homage posted ITT. He went to GLB2 because he's so terrible at the real GLB. If the punk started up a rookie team at the real GLB the Jazz Cats would beat him by at least 70.
