never offered reward/flex for winning leagues. could have increased cares at lower levels

then WL and Pro games the the same day

they had it right for so long, and then built GLB2. Just an unbelievably stupid move. I understand what they were trying to do, set it and forget it, make money with little effort, attract other demographics etc. But they had it right at the beginning and it got better for so long. reguardless of the whiners i figure they just didnt wanna work at it anymore, and just bailed too soon. Build a game to directly compete with your other product makes no sense. p sure our guys would have dived right in to a Hoops game, or maybe baseball

we'll be here till the lights go off anyway. or if it gets to the point where there are no competitive teams left. I still enjoy it. still enjoy Gameplanning and slotting players in the org teams, ownership, hanging with the boyz in AIM latenight, , and most of all building players and watching them.

if GLB1 goes away then bye, i dont think anyone's gonna put a bullet in their head over it. Fantasy baseball/football and porn are alive and well

They got rid of the one guy that truly cared about this game.

GLB became too much work for Bort with all the modifications since Alpha. I believe he doesn't know where all the bodies are buried in the game anymore and no one else is going to learn it. GLB has been abandoned and GLB2 was started using different tools and something others can work on besides Bort.

GLB is a good game and is a shame to see it die like this.

If you first game is a football sim and you build another football sim are not in competition with yourself now?

Holy crap, my account is on GLB2 as well. Is it worth going over there?

Most of us dislike GLB 2 but try it out any ways.

Somehow my GLB2 player who was on a team the whole season only got xp credit for 93% of the season.

If you're interested in checking it out, you don't have to wait til the end of a season - there's an option to create players mid-season as 'Experienced' so they start out with the same XP/Skill Points as any other Rookie created in the off-season.
