To many people were getting smoked by the elite clubs and the masses cried out for a game that equals out the teams. Hence GLB2! It's probably to late now, but the folks that are knowledgable of this game should all recruit and tutor people how to build dots, run teams, coordinate, etc etc. instead of asking them to come to get slaughtered. This game is hard at first and takes time to learn. I've been here since S9 and still learning. So your point of no control, I disagree. We are some what the cause for the exodus of GLB, if you live the game like i do, you should take part in an attempted revival. Or you can just sit back say we have no control, and watch it die.

I have helped my share of agents learn things in GLB , and more than willing to do it again

That's not gonna recharge this site, and the only things that will , us agents have no control over

I think one of the biggest problems is how long it takes to get your player to plateau. 280 days(actually more with preseason & postseason days) is a long time for people in a browser game & I would imagine most newbs quit before the ever get a player to plateau & experience the game at the highest levels.

That is admirable of you for doing so, as have I. Just wish others could do the same. It does take a unique type of person to like GLB. Competitive, acceptance of failure, desire to learn, and time commitment. Among other things. I think the difficulty is its draw to me. Always something to improve and perfection is nearly unreachable. This is quite the cerebral game, hate seeing it withering away

the trick is to bring back all the old people and force them to post.

post whatever.

more people posting means more people make friends, enemies, and frenemies. then said groups really start being mean to each other, mods crack the whip, everyone rallies against the mods. ta da forums are active again.

active forums and this new frenemy life means rivalries return and people want to build dots and coach teams so they can shame the other group.

it's really a win/win for all parties. except the mods who will return to having unjust hate thrown at them because they banned your buddy for saying that drk sandman is no longer active because the county jail only allows him on during the weekends.

that's really what it was - ffs it's not like there is really anything interesting to do in this game, the coolest part was always the MMO part - but I think that part is just dead and gone. I don't even know if it was the over moderation that killed it, we've just run out of stuff to talk about. "how high shud I take spd, guys?" Everyone figured out how to build pretty decent dots and the game got stale.

Everything runs its course. Trying to revive GLB is like trying to save a relationship with no spark. Just cut the cord and find someone new.

Couldn't agree more. Some social stuff keeps me around but even that wanes as summer comes ..

Well then this game will die..and GLB2 will follow shortly after that..have no idea why they are wasting time on a fighting game nobody will play either.

I'm guessing that the fighting game will be more popular than GLB1 and GLB2 combined.

Good idea. Now someone teach me how to refer people and make them stay more than 5 minutes.
We should also all send bug report ticket stuff, and say the suggestions forum broke. Maybe that'll get them to take a peek at it.

Horse Porn would add a spark, but sadly that has a finite demographic and most of them are already here.
