This team was in National Pro and went 1-15. That means there are at least 14 teams in this team's OWN CONFERENCE that deserve to be in National Pro more than this team. Extrapolated out, that's at least 28 teams per league, and that doesn't include the teams who earned their promotion from Regional Pro and bubble teams who just missed earning their promotions, all of which deserve the National Pro slot more than this team.

Now I know. I get it. Even as I type this, there's some admin reading this thread and thinking "oh shit, we should promote the biggest WHINER instead of the best team!" Because it's easier than figuring out any of the hundred or so teams that deserve the promotion more than this clusterfuck of a 1-15 National Pro team. Because that's the way things work in GLB.

So I don't blame you guys for making a big ol' drama out of this. But taking it public gives me the right to roll my eyes at the ridiculous silliness of this request. This is the way the promotion system works, and everyone knows all its flaws. You're not trying to make an argument for a bubble team; you're asking for a special exception for a team that just missed being the worst team in the entire league.

no one is arguing the fact that the team was not competitive this season

it is strictly this

after all the promotions / demotions / etc., there are 2 CPU teams in National Pro

this is a team that would like to fill one of those spots

any other teams that want to promote from regional pro should try to as well

it isn't as if they are wanting to promote and kick out a human owned team

there are 2 CPU teams in National Pro - should they be left there?

OK my two cents: I requested that my team stay in reg pro. It was full of mid-level players and it finished 9-7 and in 8th place last season: http://glb.warriorgeneral.com/game/team.pl?team_id=1098

But GLB ignored my request and put us in nat pro. I had to find a team to switch with and when we did make the switch we lost the 300 level and about 50 mill in cash. This last part appears to be per the rules, but we've been in reg pro for many seasons and never had this happen. Support said it was because of a "demotion".

But I am not whining about our 300 level and the cash. But I can see the OP's viewpoint. Someone needs to spend just a little more time when moving teams. After all we are actually spending money to play this game.
