It's more than that. Anytime a customer begins to feel as if they're spending too much time doing what seems to be tedious and unnecessary work in order to gain enjoyment from whatever they're spending time and money on, you eventually cause them to leave. There are many things GLB could do to reduce the amount of time one needs to spend WORKING in order to ENJOY the game more... and this is one of those things.

If you find it's getting tedious and repetitive, you probably have your AI set up wrong. I only game plan in playoffs and even then don't spend more than maybe 30 minutes combined for offense and defense. Anyone who want's a "push" to an AI that takes care of itself, send me a GM with the access necessary and I'll take a look real fast.

I'm pretty sure he's referencing the fact that deleting a full set of packages takes around 2-3 minutes, possibly longer.

Tournament Scrimmages are another reason, and games that determine seeding are reasons I game plan. I don't use the same AI when a team I OC is playing a tough game or a Tourney Scrim.

No. I admit to being OCD when I was a coord. And the amount of time to build from scratch anywhere between 3 and 9 different AI setups... and the hell of making changes within them when I desired to do so (which was often)... it took me all of 3 seasons to burn myself to ashes. I get it that I went kinda overboard according to the GLB braintrust... but I still remember what it takes to do all of that, including the OP's issue... and also wondering why this wasn't much simpler in it's function, not form. I make that distinction because I wouldn't want the inputs and amount of available plays and all of that to be different... but changing how it's organized, how it is to set up, and how it is to remove... that could be done so much simpler and easier and MUCH less time consuming with just a little effort. Like adding a simple "select all" and "delete all" function with the ability to remove/choose those things you wish to keep and/or remove. Like the way our PM/Alert box works. Simple. I choose what PM's/Alerts I want to delete and, one click later they're gone. If I want I could remove them all. It works very simple and easy and that's what GLB could use a lot more of. IMO.

+1 dammit
I just spent 2+ days of clicking Move Up, Move Up and Move Down, Move Down to recover our long blown up DAI. It got blowed up because I had to try the userscripts to make expanding the AI easier.
I've since come to appreciate the value of constant updating and backups while coordinating, but, the problem remains..... if something happens to the order of inputs on your AI you are mostly screwed.
Unless we get a more robust set of editing tools........

In Firefox, I still have a bug where almost every time I click Move Up or Move Down on an input in the lower half of the AI the display jumps to about the middle of the AI. Then i get to scroll back down and click again. It jumps back to the middle and I have to scroll down again. Ask me how tired of this crap editor I am.....
I finally settled on Konqueror for the best results for editing the AI, but, with no dependable copy/paste or drag/drop functions it's still an exhausting job to reorganize several hundred inputs when about 30% of them have been randomly thrown to the bottom of the AI.

I should also mention that now I have the pleasure of resuming my AI expansion effort.... 1 tedious input and several output creations at a time. I currently have only 2 SBbig inputs. I need to expand that to 1,2nd and 3,4th downs X long/med/short X normal/RZ/GL...... plus some tagged versions of each. If i was starting as a new user the only blessing would be not knowing how dam long it would take to create a comprehensive DAI. Hell, I've been here since S2 and working this AI since S18 and it's still not all i want... mostly because it quickly becomes a monster to increase the refinement of inputs. The amount of work required with the current tools seems to grow exponentially with the size of the AI.
The GMscript copy/paste tool would be a huge help and God bless the script writers for attempting to solve this mess but this isn't an area to risk buggy tools.(as i've learned the hard way...) Assuming that our prior AI blow up wasn't due to GLB itself.....
Just how dam hard would it be to get a GLB coder to either give some help to the scripts attempting to aid the AI editing or incorporate similar functions into GLB proper.....?

I just want packages to be in alphabetical order like the plays are. So much easier to manage that way.

there's a user script for that.... http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/64435
Of course, you have to edit the "include" lines for the correct address....
