I guess i never got SCM getting demoted to Reg Pro. They made the playoffs in WL so despite whatever someone thinks they deserve to be there, whether the roster is cpu or not.

I'm still waiting for an explanation as to why I wasn't given a fair chance to recruit instead of demoted to RP#3. You talk about rules like this place has any other than cater to the high rollers and kill the forum asap

Perhaps you could find the answer out to why 7's team was demoted without so much as a PM from WL. No one else will seem to answer it. He earned the spot, and wasn't even given a day to recruit. He was demoted on day 41, and was never given an answer to as why.

And while you're at it, maybe a reason as to why a team that made the playoffs in WL, wasn't demoted to pro? Why was he taken all the way to RP#3?

I don't know the inside to those details. I am just looking at it from a rules standpoint. I don't actually run the structure myself.

I would guess because the team was empty at the time demotion/promotion, and no support ticket was sent in regards your intentions of filling the team. We can't really postpone the entire promotion system while waiting for a PM confirmation.

So after making playoffs I would have to make a special request to stay?

After the demotion it was hard to recruit for a RP#3 team (I promise we are in WL, it just says RP# ) so I had no shot at getting a competitive roster. I didn't see anywhere in the rules where it said I could only replace "X" number of dots. Maybe that should be in there somewhere

Why does it matter if the team has all cpu dots or human owned dots? If the human owner of said team had met the criteria to stay in WL then why would an assumption be made that since the roster is empty the team is resetting. This seems to be another one of those "It's the user's fault" situations.

If your roster is going to be empty, yeah that makes sense. If at the time of demotion your roster is empty with no word of your intentions, that leaves two choices.

A). Leave your team, and hope the roster gets filled and doesn't just become a CPU team in the WL
or
B). Demote your team and promote a team that is guaranteed to at least have a roster

We're not psychics. Option A has the potential to hurt the enjoyment of an entire league, whereas Option B has the potential to hurt the enjoyment of one team. If we have to make a snap decision then option B is just the one that makes the most sense.

I honestly don't know, I wasn't paying attention to your situation, I'm just reading your support message after the fact when it was too late to do anything about it. I'm just a code monkey, I don't deal with league structures and promotions, but the entire situation makes sense to me, even if you did get the short end of the dice roll.

And then a team DOES reset, and then people are mad that there's a CPU team in the WL.

With no information, a choice has to be made, and both of the options have potentially bad outcomes. It sucks, and I'm sorry the way things turned out like they did.

Or C: Maybe that team had a death in the family and didn't think they had to send a ticket to stay after making playoffs. That team earned the right to stay in the WL by making the playoffs (per your own rules) so they should get at least a day to show they can fill the roster. I'm sure it's tough to switch teams on day 43 , right code person?

Whatever makes you feel better about losing another customer is fine by me, you guys don't seem to mind anyways

It is also possible for a team to have a whole 55 dot roster they are moving to another team. I guess I don't understand why movements have to be made right away without being given a chance to get a roster there. If it's still empty day 43-44 then demote it.
