best way to measure current active membership is # of votes on suggestions put up for a vote.
most recent ones show steady decline from about 2000 to about 1000

Note: one of the most recent "suggestions put up for a vote" had (215 votes for, 213 against) in less that 12 hours.
428 "different" votes within half a day that were basically split

I never look at the votes thing, so I would not use that to judge active people.
